10. Confused by bosses different shades!

Third person's point of view...

The alarm rang in the early morning hence irritating Stella's peaceful sleep.

It was not that peaceful, yet she managed to fall in slumber after she recalled the good moments of her life as a student.

Indeed, college life is the best phase of our lives! It gives us immense memories to rejoice in the future and die happily with them as we grow older.

And luckily, those same old college memories only became the reason for her sleep and Stella finally called it a night.

She yawned stretching her arms out, her eyes were paining badly. She cried before falling asleep because of some sour memories of her personal life. It was going great recalling the college life until she reminisced that day when her dadda had come to the college with her brother as chief guests.

Flashback...

The Brilliant Academy, located in the Boston city, was high on enthusiasm as it was their annual function today. And Stella was way more happy for her father and brother were called as chief guest.

She squealed in happiness seeing her father and brother getting smilingly greeted by the dean of her college and mentor.

They were soon taken to the college's hall where the annual function began with zeal and amazement. Regardless, when the junior's badge was performing on the stage on the song, 'We will, we will rock you!' her brother excused himself from his father.

Since she was the GS of the college and the manager of the annual function, she followed her brother outside the hall. He was heading towards the girls' washroom.

Stella was about to stop her brother from taking another step towards the girl's washroom when one of the girl from junior's came of the washroom. She had recognized the guy who was staring her as the chief guest's son. "Oh sir, is there anything I can help you with!" she asked and the next moment, her brother picked her up on his shoulder and ran away in his car while Stella stood there stunned.

Neither she moved, nor she shouted, she just let her brother take her away!

Flashback ended...

Stella sat straight on the bed and tears strolled down her eyes. She was in guilt.

But that was not the only day where she had caught her brother doing such a thing, there were plenty of times he did that!

It is just that it was of no use for their father would save him from the hold of law even before anything could strike her brother.

Her eyes were crying constantly when her cell phone buzzed with a message.

It was from the Array & Thrice's manager, on their employees official group in which she was added the last day after her interview.

'Please note that all the employees are requested to be present in the St. Mary's church for Tisha Avram' s funeral at 7.00 sharp. Thank you.

~On the orders of the CEO.'

Stella sighed as she stared at the screen. "Max Stokes, what are you? Why am I feeling so attached and so scared of you at the same time. The girl died after a bad conversation with you and you are only preparing for her funeral! How should I take that as!"

With the worst headache Stella took a quick shower and wore a black knew length dress with black stockings.

In the St. Mary's church...

She reached at the cemetery in the back yards of the church whereas cameras were flashing as the limos were parked outside the gate.

When Stella entered inside, the men were putting Tisha's coffin down in the earth.

Panic, grief, anxiety... Different emotions played in her mind at the same time while her eyes landed on a middle aged couple, most probably Tisha's parents.

Some of the people were consoling them. Everyone was quiet only the dominance of dear silence prevailed in the air. Stella's eyes were searching that familiar face among the hundreds unknown who was possibly the cause of poor Tisha's demise.

And there, she found him talking to some men. He was in a black suit. One hand pocketed while with another he was holding white lilies.

Stella tried to search truth in his green eyes, but she just lost herself in the mist of only illusion.

She looked away as soon as their eyes met and made her way to the grieved couple (Tisha's parents) to convey her consoling words to them. She could feel his eyes closely watching her body and Stella regretted for wearing a tight dress.

Any ways, soon everyone started leaving, so she too thought to leave before she would come across him. At that moment she did not want to face him.

But to her bad luck, just as she was about to step out of the gateway she felt a strong arm grabbing her wrist and pulling her against something hard.

It was his chest which she collided with.

"We need to talk Miss Miller. Come on, follow me." Stella held her heart as his deep frustrated voice hit her eardrums while he dragged her with himself rather than having her to follow him.
