Chapter 44

*Knock* *Knock* The tapping on the window woke him from his sleep. He listened carefully, when he didn't hear anything, he pulled the cover over his head. Just as he closed his eyes, he heard the tap again. Getting up from the bed he moved to the window, squinting his eyes, he looked outside, he didn't see anyone, he slowly opened the window just then a pebble caught his eyes, he caught it in a swift manner, he then narrowed his eyes at the pebble throwing culprit, "Elle?"

"You horrible man!" She threw the pebble at him again, he immediately shut the window, the pebble made a 'tap' noise as it stroke the glass.

"You think you can hide?" He heard her shout as she banged on the door. 

"What the?" He let out an exasperated sigh as he made his way downstairs. The banging on the door disappeared as he reached the door, when he came out, she wasn't there.
