Linda had a sinister smile as she listened to the girls bad mouth Nelly.

On the other hand Nelly pretended to have not heard all the ugly comments about her, she just sat quietly on the table and observe the groups of people that had been divided in to clicks.

"Don't mind them, they are only being mean so that Linda can notice them. Fake people like them don't deserve your reaction."

The girl who sat on her left side whispered to her with a warm smile, which Nelly reciprocated.

"Thank you, I wasn't going to say anything anyway unless they said it straight to my face."

"Good, I'm Amanda by the way."

"Hey Amanda, I'm Nelisiwe but you can call me Nelly."

They continued to chat about their interests and Nelly realized that they both shared a lot in common. They both weren't from rich backgrounds and had to work hard in order to be recognized by the company.
