Fallaciously inlove

As she sat at the back stage nervously holding hands with the other contestant patiently waiting for the winner to be announced, tears started flowing down her cheeks.

" Don't be sad Nelly, you know how good of a singer you are, surely you will get the prize."

Alwyn the guy holding her hand tried to comfort her, he too knew how good Nelly was, so he wouldn't be surprised if she came out first.

He held her hand even tighter as a way to affirm what he was saying.

" Even if you don't get the prize, I can speak to my Uncle and get you signed with Electrotainment, that way your career will only go up from there as that's a very reputable company in the whole country."

She was not sad or anything like that in fact she was proud of herself at how far she had come, even if she did not take the first prize, to her that was also a win, the runner up prize that she would get was enough to change her life and for her to bring her sister to the big city.

She smiled gently and looked at Alwyn and then responded.

"I'm not sad at all, in fact to me even if i don't win, this has been my best achievement. I have done all that I could to make a name for myself" 

She the paused and looked at the black curtains that blocked them from the people on the other side of the stage.

" You hear that? people are calling out our names in enthusiasm, they want more, they want us to win. I'm sure there is an entertainment company out there that will want me in their team, so please don't bother your uncle as I want to work hard for all that I will receive."

The man blushed a little in embarrassment but before he could even say anything the program manager called them as it was now time to take the stage.

They both walked up to the stage and stood on either side of the presenter.

The screen behind them showed their musical journey since the competition started. Once that was done, he then announced the winner.

"Nelly Smith!"

As soon as Nelly heard her name being called out, everything just became blur as she fell down to her knees with tears of joy flowing down her cheeks.

She lifted her head to see everyone in that theater on their feet clapping and screaming out her name in joy.

'It is all over!' She thought to herself.

she then stood up and wiped her tears. She bowed to the presenter and thanked him.

Just like that, she was the talk of the country and a lot of people were rooting for her.

After they were done with entertaining people who came to congratulate them, Nelly excused herself as she wanted to change in to something more comfortable.

"Don't be too long, the group is going over to the Oracle to celebrate."

The competition sponsors had organized a celebratory dinner that evening for Nelly and Alywn to mingle and form relationships with people in the music industry.

An hour later they were both called out as it was time for them to head out to the function.

Compared to the exquisitely designed dress she had on earlier, Nelly was now looking very simple in her knee high ,plain backless dress with a pair of heels.

Being a soft spoken, introverted person that she was, she chose to sit alone in a table by the corner while enjoying her meal and drinks, she would from time to time cast and eye over to Alwyn's table to see what he was up to as he was the only person in the room she was familiar with.

"Hey come over, I want you to meet some friends. " 

That was Alwyn's voice she heard as she was taking a sip from her drink. She looked at him and as she was about to decline the offer, Alywn beat her to it.

"This is your career we are talking about, you don't have to spend the entire night with them but so you know those are are the big shots in the industry. And don't you pretend that you don't want to go, I saw how you kept looking at us since we got here."

"Owh please don't think highly of yourself, it was just a coincidence."

She quickly stood up as she spoke, trying to hide all the embarrassment from being caught  acting.

She then followed Alwyn back to his table to meet his friends. After a brief introduction, he handed her a cocktail glass to drink and since she thought it would be  rude to reject him in front of so many people she took the drink and sat down at the only available seat, which was a two seater couch that had only one person occupying it.

The moment she sat down, all eyes were on her and she too sensed the atmosphere of the room changing. 

"What's wrong, why is everyone looking at me like that?"

She thought that she probably had something on her hense she asked Alwyn that question.

Instead of getting an answer one of the guys on the table which she recognized as Robert the Manager of Electrotainment spoke to the person she was sitting next to.

"Are you ok the Eric?"

Eric only gave Rob a deadly glare as an indication to let him be.

With that they continued to drink, and Rob would pass more drinks for her and the Eric man next to her. Fearing to turn him down she accepted the drinks and drank whenever they toasted her.

After receiving an urgent call from his mom Alwyn excused himself and apologized to Nelly as he had to leave her with people she didn't know. But considering that his uncle was also there, he knew that she was safe hence he left.

Not long after Alwyn had left, Nelly started feeling a certain way. It was a foreign feeling, something she had never experienced before. A layer of sweat started to form on her forehead as she felt hotter and hotter with each minute that passed, and the man sitting next to her wasn't making it any better.

Since the sponsors had already booked the whole of Oracle hotel, she thought it will be wise for her to get one of the rooms to sleep it off before she could even embarrass herself in front of such prominent figures.

Hence she excused herself and asked for a room from the front desk and got herself a key. By the time she got to the room, the heat she was feeling from inside had gotten stronger and stronger and was now unable to control herself, she started stripping off her dress, but even the bra that she had on made her feel hot so she took that off as well.

She laid on the bed turning and tossing trying to find a comfortable position but nothing she did reduced the burning flame she felt.

Soon the door was pushed open and a blurry tall figure walked in, she couldn't figure out who it really was but she still found herself saying.

"Help me! I'm, I'm burning"

The man froze and his eyes darkened even further as he saw the naked woman on the bed, he too was fighting his own battle and only that woman in front of him can help him.

He did not think any further as he locked the door and moved toward the bed while taking off every piece of clothing on his body.

He then got on top of her and asked,

" Is this what you really want?"

Nelly nodded her head vigorously as her body  seemed to have a brain of its own that she could not control.

Just like that, the two people in the room merged as one and carried on with their activity till they both passed out.
