Joshua’s POV
I was in heaven, absolute heaven. Finally, I was kissing my dream girl and she was letting me. We were on the beach, in front of the ocean and under the moonlight, while Olivia was partially in my arms as her hand trailed through my hair. More importantly, we were still kissing and honestly, I couldn’t make myself stop. It was intoxicating and every time my lips touched hers, all I wanted was more.
F*ck! How did I ever survive this long without this?
Frankly, I was shocked when she asked me what I was waiting for since I was expecting her to hesitate or even push me away after I revealed that I wanted to kiss her. But, when she gave me the green light, I took the chance and it was everything I had ever imagined and more. It was perfect, she was perfect. When she ran her fingers through my hair, a soft growl vibrated within me, stirred b
Olivia’s POVJoshua looked at me with shock and hesitation after I demanded that he kiss me. But, that was expected since I went from rejecting his feelings to complete silence to suddenly kissing him when he was right on my lap. Honestly, I still couldn’t believe I did such a thing. It was just that when he got up to walk away, it felt like he was walking away from me and I couldn’t bear for that to happen, so I did the only thing that flashed through my mind—kissing him.Everything I had told him was right. I was so close to revealing everything that he had done, but it didn’t feel right since I had forgiven him in a way and vowed to move forward. Plus, I was worried about what would happen to him if he found out what he did to me in the past. The new Joshua didn’t deserve to feel that guilt that might drive him to do something stupid. So, I stayed silent for some time as I stared at the crashing waves and thought about everything deeply. Obviously, I liked Joshua a lot, possibly mo
Olivia’s POV My heart skipped a beat and I gripped Joshua’s shoulder tightly before I tried to sit up straight. The poor man fumbled off me and to the side while shooting me a confused look. I couldn’t help it, it was Adrina and that woman had some weird sense when it came to me. Just by voice, she knew I was with a guy and was getting pleasured. But, what worried me was that she now knew that I had a guy in my life, which meant that she wouldn’t rest until she found out more about him, and if she found out that the mystery guy was Joshua, she would kill me. F*ck, f*ck, what do I do now? Joshua touched my shoulder and flashed me a questioning look as he sat next to me, but all I did was show him my palm and ask him to wait. I needed to calm down and think straight before I could start talking to the investigative sleuth that I called my best friend. Inhaling a deep breath of air, I smiled and placed the phone back to my ear. “Adrina, hey, girl! What’s up?” I said cheerfully as I b
Olivia’s POV Bright and early Monday morning, I wrapped my arms tightly around Joshua’s waist as he swerved his motorcycle through traffic. Even though I politely refused, he still insisted that he drop me off at work that morning, probably just as an excuse to see me again. I couldn’t complain since I wanted to see him too and I pretty much enjoyed this new attention from our new relationship. However, I was worried that someone from work would recognize him and I would be caught fooling around with the company’s model. So although I agreed that he could send me to the office, I made sure he dropped me around the block and not right in front of the office doors. Fine, fine. I admit, it’s kind of romantic. “Here we are. Around the block from your office as promised,” Joshua said as soon as he raised the visor on his helmet. Hopping off his bike, I pulled off the helmet and handed it back to him before adjusting my hair in this side mirror. “You know, you could be still sleeping i
Olivia’s POV Between all the work of researching Preciozo Jewelers' past campaigns and texting with Joshua all week, it was Friday evening before I knew it. Turning off my computer, I picked up the red helmet on the floor under my table and placed it on the table next to my bag. Ever since Joshua insisted on sending me to work every day, he had invested in a brand new helmet for me and even took me along to the shop so that I could pick one I liked. My phone dinged with a message notification and I peeked at my phone to see that Joshua was already waiting for me downstairs. A smile instantly twisted my lips and I packed up my bag in a hurry. Picking up the helmet, I clocked out and headed to the elevator to head to the lobby. Within seconds, the elevator dinged and the doors opened, but instead of an empty elevator, I was met with someone I was hoping to avoid as much as I could—Sam Lee. F*ck. You know what? This is great, just great. I made it through the whole week without being
Olivia’s POV The noisy club turned silent as Joshua’s words echoed in my ears continuously. His declaration that he was the guy who tried to help me back when the pervert tried to touch me caught me by absolute surprise. Never in a million years did I ever imagine the mystery guy was Joshua, my bully nor the new Joshua, the guy I was dating. As my eyes stared at Joshua’s equally shocked and a little impressed face, memories of that fateful night filled my mind. I remember dancing away in my own world when that pervert placed his hands on my waist and when I pulled away, he looked at me with lust and greed. I remembered how scared I was since it was my first time in a packed and noisy club, and my first time experiencing such a thing. That b*stard clearly refused to take my reluctance as an answer and held my waist again and then I finally shouted out my refusal before pushing him away. The feeling of how alone I felt when no one around me realized what was happening or even cared s
Olivia’s POV Joshua looked down at me as his widened eyes scanned my face to check if I was joking or playing a prank on him. But, that was far from the truth. The truth was that I wanted to show him how much I was beginning to fall for him. In fact, after hearing that he was my mystery savior and seeing how jealous he got but coolly handled it, the way he made sure I didn’t get drunk—even though it would have allowed him to take advantage of me, not that I wanted him to—only strengthened my feelings for him. So, after he left me on my bed and prepared to leave, I stopped him the same way he stopped me after I tucked him into his bed when I found him drunk. “Princess, you are drunk. You don’t know what you’re saying,” Joshua said, tapping my cheeks slightly to snap me out of my daze. Shaking my head, I ran my fingers through his hair. “No. Your coffee really sobered me up and I’m not that drunk. So, I really meant what I said.” Was I lying? A little. I was still slightly drunk but
Olivia’s POV My arms stretched out as a long yawn escaped my lips before I turned to my side to see my empty bed. Two days ago, I woke up to Joshua's face staring back at me after a moan-filled night. By the time he finished his masterpiece, it was already late and he had left his bike at the club so that he could send me back home since I had fallen asleep. So, I told him to spend the night and Joshua obliged. He got into bed next to me, still shirtless, and cuddled up next to me. My god, that feeling was indescribable and I felt like my bed had been missing such an incredible thing all the while. Joshua caressed my hair softly until I fell asleep and the next morning, he was the face first I saw when I opened my eyes. He was sleeping so soundly and he had covered me with a majority of my duvet that he had only a small portion on him that barely covered his bare chest. Would I have ever imagined seeing a hot guy half naked in my bed? Absolutely not. Needless to say, we started out
Joshua’s POV My day had been going incredibly well and honestly, I felt like I was on my honeymoon with Olivia. It felt nice to be somewhere where no one knew us and we could openly show our affection. But, Olivia had her reservations and I respected that. We walked hand-in-hand until we reached the studio and once we entered, I prepared to channel my professionalism. Frankly, I wanted to be done with the day as soon as possible so that I could take Olivia out for dinner. However, I didn’t account for something—or rather, someone. My heart nearly jumped out of my chest when Melody kissed me on the lips, right in front of Olivia. I cursed myself for not realizing the possibility that Melody would do such a thing the minute I saw her rushing toward me. But, I didn’t and now it was too late. My arms which were on the sides of my body immediately pushed Melody away and I wiped my mouth with the back of my palm. “Melody! What the f*ck?!” I yelled as I glared at her. But, she only shrug
