Lockdown - II

Prisoners of Gold, that's what the citizens call them. Outside, in the desert, is a red zone where aurums are wild and free to do as they want, no rule bounds them. The red zone is known for war occurring nearly everyday, between groups of powerful aurums living in the desert. The country of Fiveisla is separated not by bodies of water but by mass desolations. The reason why Faradiso has walls taller than the heavens is to block such aurums from invading the city.

Today seems to be that day.

Cerise was awoken by a loud ringing and people screaming, there seems to be a commotion outside.

The siren of the city hall rung throughout Faradiso, it only ever does during calamities or emergencies.

Cerise uncurls herself from her position, wiping the tears away as she cried because of Jean's situation. She walks toward the glass wall, peering down at the streets. There she sees aurums, attacking one another. One of them flew upwards and threw a car at a crowd. The
