Chap 29:

Steven phoned someone, and after thirty minutes there were several cars parked in front of my house. Steven opened the door, and they brought in a lot of costumes and expensive jewelry that made me dizzy.

"Diana, choose whatever you like. Can you go to the party with me today?"

"I'm what?!" I said with a lack of confidence: "But I've never been to such parties? It's all for people like you. I didn't feel right when I went there." I twisted my hands together because of my self-doubt, starting to get awkward.

Steven put his hands on my face and gently said: "It's okay? I went there today as my lover. No one is allowed to look down on me."

He didn't wait for me to answer, and he signaled the staff to start choosing my clothes and makeup. His words just made my heart skip a beat. I was both happy and nervous at the same time.
