Chap 50: My lie made him angry.

I struggled in despair, like a fish out of water. I don't know what I did wrong to have to put up with all this.

"Ah…ah…ah! Stop it! Please!"

I cried out in pain as Enoch poured a cup of hot water into my hand. The skin on my hands started to turn red and painful. Even though it was winter, my forehead was drenched with sweat. I panicked when I saw Enoch continue to carry hot cups of water toward me; I shouted: "Darius, I did nothing wrong; why are you doing this to me?"

Darius' face remained as cold as ice; he ignored my words. I know Darius wants to destroy my face because he wants me not to dare to meet Steven and automatically leave him; he wants me to disappear forever from Steven's life.

While I was hopeless, the door suddenly opened. Right now, I feel like I'm holding onto a buoy when I'm about to drown in the ocean. I couldn't see the faces of the two people who had just entered because they were standing against the light. Suddenly, I heard Zelda's voice say:

"Get off her rig
