Chapter 8 : Assistant?

THIRD PERSON'S POV :

Next day morning in Shane's penthouse...

Shane and Nate are in the living area talking with each other.

"How did the shipment go last night?" Shane asked Nate.

"All good. But someone tried to steal it from the base. But Rudy captured them with a plan and made sure that everything went well." Nate said proudly. Rudy is like a younger brother to him.

"I know, that's why I sent Rudy there. He knows how to handle everything even in sudden situations." Shane said smiling proudly. "So, which idiots tried to steal our shipment?"

"That's the point, a mere local gang tried to steal. They know perfectly who we are but still tried to steal. I think there is someone behind this." Nate said thinking about who did this.

"Whoever tried this, has to be punished. Did they open their mouths?" Shane asked Nate.

"No... Looks like they don't want to tell us. I think there is a reason because they are trying so hard not to tell us about that person, even after they were beaten to death.
