"Oh, no! Damon, stop it now!" Itzel rambles out with a humph. But Damon being Damon does not listen to her and keeps on making her fun. "My sweet, sweet Itsi is scared of geckos! Oh, really? Geckos? They are the sweetest reptiles I know!" Damon rants and rants about actually how good geckos are. Apparently, Damon, her best friend from elementary school, has got a gecko to look after for a few days since its owner is out of station. This is one of his many part time jobs as a teenager in high school. "Excuse me, I am not scared of that thing, okay! But look at him! He is an obnoxious creature." She literally cringes while looking at him standing at a two feet distance from it. Damon places one of his palms on his chest and gasps, faking hurt. "Do not say like that, Itsi! Look how sad he has become because of what you just said! Oh, no baby, don't mind her. She is just jealous because she is not as beautiful as you, okay?" This time Itzel gasps at him. How could he even say that? She
Pacing back and forth in her balcony, Itzel feels like she is going to faint anytime soon as she starts hyperventilating. Ruci Dmitri was there in the restaurant where she went for her breakfast date! But why was he there? And with whom? Needless to say, maybe he was still with that woman who had red hair and green eyes. But it could be that he is with someone else now. Who knows! Oh, she is going out of topic again. The matter here is why is he back now? After two long years! Or maybe, he is here for his business? And what did he say? A pleasant coincidence? It was anything but pleasant, at least on her side. Their meeting was anything but pleasant, but sure it came as a surprise to her. She has got to see Ruc after two years! Surely he has changed a lot. His face was clean shaven and he has gained more muscle now. But what has not changed even a bit were his azure colured eyes. Those beauties never fail to draw her into them. And what surprised her even more is that he did not look
"Oh, look at you! You look beautiful!" Her ma compliments her. Donned in a night sky blue colored body fit gown which has two slits starting from just below the knee, Itzel is all set to go out for the movie night. Hearing her words, she blushes and with a soft smile mumbles a shy thank you to her. Before she can say something else, a knock comes at her bedroom's door. She tells whoever is at the door to come in since the door is not locked. And in comes Mr. Taylor. As soon as he steps in, his breath gets hitched which he so subtly tries to hide from the ladies present in the room. Standing infront of him is Itzel in that beautiful dress looking stunning. He notices that Itzel is looking at him with a different look, like she is curious and thankful at the same time. What is it with her? "Mrs. Singh, Mr. Singh is looking for you. He says that he has told you that he would have his dinner early tonight which you did not inform me before." He tells her to which she gasps. "Oh, did he
The door to the kitchen thuds open and enters Dmitri, looking all agitated and angry. Placing both his hands on either of his hips, he starts pacing back and forth on the kitchen floor. They were hugging! Itzel and that guy Archer were hugging while sitting inside his car! He saw it all! But he just could not hear what they were talking about. Well, does it even matter? What he saw was just too much to take in for him. How could she do this to him? Oh well, why could she not? Was it not him who had told her that he did not want her? Was he not the one who had proposed the divorce between them? Even if it was for her own good, he can't expect her to wait for him to come back one day and just magically forgive him and forget the past and be back with him! Hell, she still does not even know why he had to divorce her and distance her from himself! So, he can't really blame her if she is choosing another man to be in her life now. He has no right whatsoever, even if it kills him to know.
THUMP!! The thick opaque blue folder drops down on the ground infront of him. Dmitri looks up at the man who has done that. With a sick smirk across his lips, the man with salt and pepper hair and beard stares down at him before jutting his chin at him. "What you lookin' at, Dmitri? Huh? What is it with that glare of yours? Do not forget that you are in my territory right now!" He growls at him lowly. "Now, if you kindly take this file and go through it, it would be very nice of you, you know." The man orders him with a silent wanting lurking behind his voice. Dmitri sighs boredly with a nonchalant look before getting up and taking the folder lying on the ground in his hands and then going back to sit on the couch behind."You know all too well that I am my own person, right? I do not take orders from anyone. Not even that man whom I address as my boss." Dmitri says to him with the same bored expression as before after reading through the files that are in that folder. "And if you kn
*Continues...*The minute Itzel's name leaves that man's mouth, Dmitri attempts to push those men holding him away and stand up to his feet. But they put on more pressure and keep him down on the ground. The man who is now holding his mobile phone lets out a chortle. "Oh, this Itzel evens calls you 'Ruc'? And you let her call you that? I have heard that you do not prefer to be called by your first name, let alone by a pet name! Then she must be someone special, right Dmitri?" He grinds his teeth as he glares daggers into the man's head. "I do not entertain any chick out there, you know that! She is just one of my many one night stands. The only difference is that she seems consistent and is a bit clingy, but I only have her in my contacts because she is damn good in bed." Dmitri himself cringes internally at his own use of words he makes for his innocent wife. He should not have said such a thing but being in such a situation, has his sane mind fly out somewhere afar. The man infront
When Dmitri gets back to the Singh mansion, his eyes immediately lits up on seeing Itzel's car pulling up in the driveway just at the same time. The door to the passenger seat opens and comes out Itzel, looking a bit tattered and exhausted? Where is she coming from? Dmitri immediately goes near her and help her out. "What happened, Ms. Itzel? You look a bit..." He trails off not knowing how to place his words exactly. "A bit out of place?" Itzel completes his sentence for him before letting out a short dry chuckle. "Well, I guess that is something new for you to see, is it not?" She asks him and starts walking inside. But one thing Dmitri notices right away is her limping. Why is she limping? "Are you okay?" He asks her warily, not liking her more than necessary casualness. "Why does it even concern you, Mr. Taylor?" She dares him o reason out his concern for her while locking her intense gaze with his serious one. "Why do you care so much about if I am okay or not?" Dmitri remain
"ITZEL! Come down here right now!" She hears her father scream for her from downstairs. So, without wasting another second, she dashes off down the stairs not wanting to anger him any more than he already is by how he sounds. When she reaches on the ground floor, she finds him standing in the center of the living room looking like an enraged bull. Literally, it is as if he is breathing out smoke through his nostrils as they flare dangerously noticably, and his eyes that are narrowed to slits only adding to his angry look. With much caution, Itzel moves into the room all the while under her father's hard glare. "Care to explain what the hell is this!" He seethes at her and throws a squared piece of paper at her feet. She bends down and picks it up. The paper looks like it had been folded before since it has crusts on it. When she sees what the paper is about, her eyes widen in fear and she gulps audibly. "Papa, this is actually..." She trails off nervously. "I..I can explain." She say
