Chapter 23: Itzel and street fights

"IT IS TIME!!" A shrill voice which belongs to the announcer here fills the whole underground street. "You all have waited for so long to witness yet another amazing street fight of ours. So, we are now going to put an end to the wait and..let the fight begin! Today we have two fresh newbies fighting here. ARE YOU ALL EXCITED?" The announcer screams into the microphone again.

Sitting inside a room in the far corner, Itzel can't help but feel all her nerves getting to the absolute edge. This is happening! Like really happening!! She can't stomach the fact that she is back at a place like this again even after she has a good payable part time job now. Now she is realizing that it was not only the bounty that she was getting out of the fights, nor it was the independence and self reliance that she was getting out of it. The fights are also a source of getting kicks for her. And now that she has come back to fight, she has come to terms with the fact that she has become obsessed with fig
