Chapter 7: Big Mistake
We rode in silence; him never taking his eyes off the road, and me staring out the window. Anger still surged inside me from the incident at the club. Who does he think he is? Commanding me? He is going to learn that I am not one to mess with.
When we finally stopped, we were outside of a tall skyscraper. The building must have had around sixty floors if I was to guess. I watch him in confusion as he gets out of the car and walks around to open my door.
“Come on Charlotte.”
“No, I thought you were taking me home, I want to go home.”
“I did, I brought you to my home. I’m not leaving you alone while you are drunk. You can crash here and go home in the morning.”
