Jack
I knew it was Hope the minute someone hugged me from behind. She’s the only one who would pull such on me. I turned around and hugged her more tightly. I love her, everything about her lights up my world in the realest way.
I’ve known her since we were little, the friendship started with our parents though. They’re quite close and after being on a few play dates, we just happened to clicked too. I’m two years older than her and that somehow earned me the big brother tag. And for the life of me, I do take her as my sister. The one I never had and so, I love her so much. She’s fun to be with and when she’s around, she makes sure to enjoy herself to the fullest.
Like tonight, she had called to ask if I’d be coming to the party. My answer was initially no until she told me she’d be coming with her gorgeous single friend. The emphasis on the single was loud. It was as if she was trying to subtly tell me something. I got the hint too so I came prepared.
I made sure I was looking my best and even got there early. Of course, I knew Hope wouldn’t pull up until it’s a bit late. That's her style, she likes being the center of attention in the room and that can only happen when there are people in there already.
I was about getting my glass refilled when I felt those soft arms wrap around me. My face lit up with a smile immediately as I turned around.
Hope had my full attention so I didn’t notice the beauty beside her but once I did, I was hooked.
Oh my goodness! She was so beautiful and had one of the craziest sexy body I had even seen. Calling her gorgeous would be a gross understatement. She was breathtaking.
I looked at Hope to introduce us… I could have done so myself but I didn’t want to make any wrong step that might turn her off so I just had to control myself. Hope was still being slow about it so I cleared my throat loudly, and then nudged in her direction. She got the hint then and then went on to introduce us.
Daisy… that was the perfect name for a beauty like her. She stretched out her hand for a shake but heck no! I’m not missing the chance to have her in my arms.
I pulled her into an embrace and held her so tenderly. My God! She was sweetly soft and smelled so good I had to stop myself from licking her face off.
I wasn’t sure if I was imagining things but for a second there, it felt like she snuggled more into me. Her head pressed more into my chest and I just couldn’t resist the urge to get some of that nice warmth. I sniffed her head and she immediately pulled away.
I was scared I had thrown her off but when I looked in her eyes, I knew we were good.
What’s a nice night without a little compliment? It wasn’t hard coming up with beautiful words for her but Hope’s playful jealousy got in the way. We laughed it off and she eventually left us.
I heaved a sigh of joy when I was alone with her but it wasn’t long before her phone got her attention. That was quite okay so I just let her do her thing until she started giggling and blushing.
Damn! I got jealous… I don’t need her smiling at someone else's lines. I moved closer but I wasn’t going to snoop so I was only going to get back my girl’s attention.
“What’s funny?” I asked while she suddenly looked up and before we knew what was happening, our lips had collided.
“Oh my God, oh my… I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to do that.” She quickly pulled back and apologized.
I wanted to tell her that I liked it and didn’t mind but that wasn’t the time or place for such. We just got to know each other, I can’t be too forward with her. Girls like her don’t like it.
“What? Nothing happened, I was the one snooping so I’m sorry.” I chimed in and she finally relaxed.
“So we were saying?” I added while she smiled.
“Nothing I haven’t heard before actually. 'Ohh… Daisy, you’re so beautiful…' I get that almost everyday so yeah…” she replied.
I stared deeply in her eyes then. I was surprised to hear that from her. I thought she was one of those gentle girls who are so shy they never say what’s on their mind. She’s different and that made me want her even more.
“You’re right, you deserve better than cliche lines, right? So what do you want? Let’s start from there.”
“I don’t know, you tell me. Surprise me!” She retorted flawlessly.
“Be careful what you wish for, beautiful.” I chuckled at her while she gave me that face that says ‘go ahead, I dare you!’
“I guess you’re just talks then, or maybe you need a strong drink.” She turned to call one of the girls serving then but before she could, I grabbed her hand and yanked her over.
She landed right in my chest, body pressed tightly against mine while I stared intently in her eyes. It was so intense that she struggled to keep contact but I didn’t give her that chance to look away.
It felt like our body was burning into each other, that was how hot the moment was. I slowly raised her chin up and then leaned over to her level. She closed her eyes immediately and I could see her lips watering so desperately for a kiss.
Not yet though, she just dared me and I’m not letting her go scotfree. I'm going to make her bed for it.
“You’re so damn hot, I could eat you raw right here, right now. Can I?” I whispered in her mouth as slowly and sensual as I could be.
She immediately opened her eyes then and was going to push me away but her purse had hooked my shirt. The hold pulled her back and she forced it free but it was sudden and it pushed her off balance. I tried to get a hold of her but I was a split second late, and the next thing I knew was being soaked with the huge splash from her fall. She fell hard into the pool. One look at her and I knew she couldn’t swim. I quickly jumped in and pulled her out.
Her dress was all wet and plastered to her body, revealing everything and leaving little to the imagination. I couldn’t bear seeing the guys feed on my girl so without a second thought, I lifted her and hurried away.
“What are you doing?” She quizzed as we made our way through.
“Saving my girl…” I chimed in.
She didn’t say anything and just stared at me briefly before looking away.
I dropped her at the restroom and then left to give her some privacy. I was back shortly with some swimsuit.
“Here, got this for you. You can wear that while we get your dress dried.” I hung it on the door and then excused her again.
About ten minutes later, I finally heard the door open. I turned to look and there she was, looking so hot. Her cleavage were popping out and I couldn’t tear my eyes off it. Her waist, hip, skin, legs… if perfection was a person, it was Daisy!
“What? Why are you staring that way?” She finally found her voice.
“Oh my, you’re so… hot. Damn it… I can’t even stop looking. Where have you been my whole life?” I let out while she chuckled.
“You’re making me so uncomfortable, Jack.” She tried to hide her blush but her red cheeks gave her away.
“Let’s get this dried. I can’t keep walking around in this.” She added.
“Why not? It’s called a pool party for a reason.”
“I know right, but I still want what I want.” She argued.
“Yeah right, I don't want the other boys seeing how hot you are anyway. I want mine to be the only eyes on you tonight.” I chimed in while she smiled again.
“Come on, let’s go upstairs, I’m sure we’ll find something there.” I immediately saw the reluctance on her face when I said that and I got the hint.
“Oh no, no… I’m never going to do anything like that. I like you but I’d never do anything you don’t want to do.” I quickly chimed in.
She stared at me for a few seconds before nodding.
“Okay then, let’s go.” I grabbed her hand and then led the way upstairs.
All the while, all I could think of was how much I want her and I'll do anything to get her. She’s exactly what my life needs… has needed for a long time and now that I found her, I’m not playing games no more…
TonyThe moment I got the call from Don, I stopped everything I was doing, grabbed my car keys and things, and then made for the door.I ignored all the glaring eyes and just walked out. I may have a huge scandal going on but at the end of the day, I’m still their boss and anyone not okay with that can hand in their resignation letter. Ever since I got to the office in the morning, they all judged me and I didn’t need a soothsayer to tell me that they’d been gossiping behind my back. Well, there was nothing they could do other than judge me with their eyes. They couldn’t even do that well because they had to pretend they knew nothing and smile brightly at me. On my way out too, it was the same way. They smiled so brightly I was so sure it ached, and even stood up to acknowledge my presence. I didn’t do more than look at them and just left. I needed them to be under some pressure too.I hopped into my car and then zoomed off while putting a call through to Daisy.I haven’t called her
TonyIt felt as if I woke up on the right side of the bed this morning because I was full of energy right from the second I opened my eyes. Or maybe it was the first image that came to my mind. It was that of Daisy and that was exactly the confiedent booster I needed. I had a lot of work to get to at the office so I freshen up real quick and then made my way downstairs. I made a quick breakfast and was at the table keeping things fast when I sounded heard a car pulled into the driveway in a rough way. That was quite strange since we weren’t only expecting someone but even our guests never drive like that. I dropped my cup and was going to check it out but I hadn’t even gotten to the door when it flung open and Jack rushed in.“How dare you, Tony!” He yelled at me angrily, throwing me into a fit of confusion.“What are you talking about right now? And what has even come over you?” I replied while he moved closer to me.He was fuming with hot anger and I didn’t want any mistakes so I
DaisyI thought the tears were going to stop after the call with Tony but the opposite was the case. I mean, I finally got what I wanted so why was I still crying. It took another second to realize I was actually crying because of the call I eavesdropped on. I couldn’t get past the fact that he was with another woman. I know he said to trust me and that it wasn’t what I was thinking, but I did hear clearly. He was with a woman and moaning that hard. They clearly were in the middle of something. But then, I can’t keep wallowing in that when he’s ready to step up and do my wish. It was at that moment that a smile finally crossed my lips and I stopped crying. I wiped my face dry and then stood up.I remembered his words again and I started smiling even harder till I was full blown laughing. “Yes yes yess!!!” I screamed so loud as I ran around the room in excitement. I kept at this for another hour till I was tired and had no more energy in me. I then went out of the room, into the k
TonyI didn’t even know I had been standing that long until my legs started to ache and threatened to give out. I was just in shock and couldn’t believe what had just happened. It’s like I forget how to think whenever it involves Raine, I wouldn’t have created this empire if I was always that clueless with everything. The good thing is she’s gone now and I hope it’s for hope. I don’t even hope, I know it’s going to be for good. She’s never coming back in here or my life or family. I was still making the threats in my head when my phone beeped. I looked around the table but I couldn’t find it there. That was strange because I was just using it before Raine came in and I always drop it on the desk. I looked around and still couldn’t find it but luckily it beeped again. It rang long enough for me to follow the sound and I found it on the chair beside the one Raine was sitting on.I grabbed it and finally, it was Daisy calling. I was so excited to see her name and I almost jumped for
TonyAs I sat in the office trying to work on a file, my mind kept wandering around with thoughts of Daisy. It’s been a week of total silence from her. She wouldn’t pick my calls or return them and I’ve sent her a dozen text messages but she never replied them. It’s been so hard to stay away from her but I think the only thing helping me to hang on is the the fact that she hasn’t blocked me. At least, I know she still has me in her mind somewhere in there. She’s just mad at me at the moment and I hope she comes around soon and sees things from my perspective. If only she can even see Jack now, he’s always so giddy and happy around the office. He’s happily waiting for the love of his life to be his finally not knowing that would never happen. Imagine us coming out in such situation, won’t he kill us literally.A smile escaped through my cheeks at the thought of this and that gave me much relief. I haven’t smiled in days and maybe that was progress.I went back to the computer screen
DaisyIt’s been a week since Tony and I had that difficult conversation, and I’ve been true to my words. I haven’t talked to him since then. He has tried calling several times with countless text messages too but I only read and never reply any of them. I should have blocked him since I didn’t want to talk to him but I intentionally did not. I know it would hurt more seeing his calls ignored and messages unattended too. Blocking hik would only mean that I’m pained too and though I am, I’m not going to give him the satisfaction. “Heyy sweetheart…” my mom’s voice suddenly sounded from the door.“Come help me with the baking in the kitchen,” she added while I rolled my eyes tiredly. I wasn’t in the mood for that but maybe a distraction from my usual thoughts was what I needed.“Okay mommy, I’ll be with you in a minute.” I chimed in.I took another ten minutes before I finally went to join her as she was even almost done.“Mom, you’re already done with it, why did you ask me to come hel
