Quinn's point of viewI eagerly awaited Liam’s arrival like a dog with two tails. I missed him, and even though it hasn't really been that long since I've seen him, I still wish I had moved closer to home so I could see him a lot more.I practically ran to the door when the doorbell sounded, throwing the door open and hugging Liam.“Look at you, Quinn; you're glowing.” Liam held me at arm's length as he looked me over.“That would be the spa day me, Summer and Megan had today.” I laughed.“You look great. Being pregnant suits you, sis. So where's Summer and my future brother in law.”“Summer has gone with Megan and Sarah to check the banquet hall to make sure it's ready for tomorrow. They are leaving nothing to chance, and Nate is getting as much work done
Quinn’s point of viewI could hear Summer and Megan singing; here comes the bride getting louder and way more off key the closer they got. I was at the bottom of the stairs when they came in the back door, squealing when they saw me.“Quinny, you don’t mind if we have a wee drink, do you?” Summer asked me, fluttering her eyelashes at me as she waved a bottle of wine under my nose.“I get the feeling you’ve already started”, I joked as she giggled. I wrestled the wine from her hand, and she and Megan ran to put on their pyjamas as I poured them both a glass of wine and myself an orange juice before I settled in front of the television. The girls were soon changed and plopped down on either side of me, and the three of us got settled with our drinks and popcorn and stuck on Magic Mike on Netflix.“I love me some Cha
Quinn's point of view“Mate”, Liam spoke.I stared at him for a second before my brain kicked in, and I turned to find Megan frozen halfway down the stairs, her mouth hanging open and her eyes locked on Liam.“Mate”, she breathed slowly as she descended the stairs and straight into Liam’s waiting arms.Summer and I shared the same shocked look as they kissed.“Alpha Liam, I presume,” Megan asked as she pulled away from him.“Yes, and you must be Megan. I've heard a lot about you.” Liam replied, smiling at Megan like she hung the moon.“Likewise”, she whispered back with the same dopey expression on her face as the dazed into each other’s eyes.“They’re mates,&rdquo
Quinn's point of view The banquet hall erupted in cheers and applause as Nathan and I walked hand in hand to the top table. Lots of whistling and people shouting their congratulations to us as we walked past. We took our seats as the applause continued. Nathan stood and held his hands up to quieten the room. He cleared his throat as his beautiful eyes watched me full of love and happiness shining for the world to see. “I just want to say thank you to everyone for coming and celebrating our wedding with us. I feel like the luckiest man in the world, and I’m so happy I get to share this day with you all.” Nathan spoke to the crowd, but his eyes were still on me as he leaned down and kissed me. Usually, the thought of speaking in front of a crowd would terrify me, but I was about to become Luna and help run this pack, so public speaking will soon become part of my job.
Quinn's point of viewThe smell of raw sewage, the smell most commonly associated with rogues, invaded my nose before I even looked up from the floor.Liam reacted faster than I would have thought possible as he grabbed me up from the floor and positioned me behind him as Emma and Jake joined us, the three of them in protective stances around me. I was paralysed with fear not for myself but for my babies, and I couldn't even shift to protect us without potentially killing them.“Quinn mindlink your pack,” Liam shouted at me as I mentally cursed myself for not doing that straight away.-Rogues in the banquet hall. We are under attack- I shouted as I sent out a mass mindlink and prayed it worked as I hadn't had a chance to try it before.Less than ten seconds later, I had Nathan, Asher, Summer and Megan all mind linking to tell me they were
Nathan's point of view“Where the fuck is my wife” I shouted, shaking the cells keeping my eyes firmly on the rogue. He tore his eyes away from Asher and looked at me. “Don’t know”, he shrugged.“Who put you up to this?” I tried again.“I’m not saying anything. I have no reason to cooperate. You’re going to kill me regardless of what I say.”“Yes, but we can make it quick if you give us answers, or we can make it slow,” Asher smirked at the man. While I was used to Asher’s usual mischievous smirk, this was one I hadn’t seen before; it was evil as he stood up and walked towards the cell door, picking up a pair of gloves from the shelf at the side of the cell.Asher opened the door and pulled the man roughly by his arm, forcing him to
Quinn's point of view“It’s you”, I gasped. I looked into Michelle’s face and saw the hatred she felt for me. I thought it was her that was sending the photos in the first place, but Nathan said she didn’t have the guts for it. It looks like he severely underestimated her.“You're surprised”, she laughed.“Only because Nathan told me you didn’t have the balls to send the pictures to him or to do anything like this.” I taunted the pissed-off wolf like the idiot I am.She glared at me for what felt like an eternity before she stormed out of the room. As I looked around, I realised the basement was empty apart from the mattress that I laid on. I wasn’t sure if this was Michelle’s house or if it was one of the open houses in the pack. I wasn’t sure what her plan was, but it didn’t l
Nathan's point of viewI got to Michelle's house before her, which gave me time to look around; although we all agreed she would be stupid to take Quinn to her own house but I snooped anyway, hoping she might have left a clue somewhere telling us of her plans or where she might be holding Quinn. That’s if she’s the one holding her for all we knew; she came up with the plan and handed Quinn off to someone else. I sat down on the porch, my head in my hands. I’d been awake now for over twenty-four hours with Quinn being gone for over nine now, and I felt absolutely useless. The last time she was taken, we knew who by and where she was being held, so it was easy to form a plan and go get her back, and if it was only rogues that attacked, I had no doubt I would have saved her, but I hate not knowing where she is or if she’s being harmed.-Michelle is on her way up the street; she’s comin
