Chapter 15

A few minutes later, the five of us, Lana, Stella, Cassidy, Lucy, Jen, and I sat and stared at our drinks. I wasn’t in the mood for it so I let Jen order for both of us.

I don’t know what got over me, but the urge to get some alcohol into my system seemed so necessary. I didn’t wait for the girls and took my drink and gulped it in one shot.

It tasted different.

“Hey, what did you order for me?” I asked Jen.

“Ugh, that was my drink!” Cassidy scowled at me.

I rolled my eyes and took another glass and gulped it down. The liquid tasted bitter. I didn’t pay heed to what they were talking to themselves about and went with the drinks. I know Jen would be mad at me for not waiting for them to halt their conversation, but I was too reckless to consider that. I needed the drinks.

“Okay, I think it’s enough.” Cassidy stopped me from having the fourth one. What’s her problem now? “You’re going to pass out if you take his one and ruin my plan.”
