Clara’s heart began to thud loudly in her chest. Beckah had noticed she was up to something. The bully’s gaze was piercing down on her. Clara reminded herself that Beckah didn’t have any proof that she had done anything and was fishing for a guilty reaction. It was the same tactic Beckah had tried at the fashion social.
