Morning came like every other day that beautiful Friday morning. It was the last day of the school week and I couldn't wait to be done with school that day.

I needed to rest, school these past few days have been quite hectic what with the preparations for the debate that will be coming up in a few days. I was the chief speaker, the main moderator who'll bring the school victory and the success of that event lied heavily on my shoulders. I had planned, prepared and now, I'm fully ready.

My alarm chose that moment to give a shrill sound, startling me to switch it off. On some days, I did wake up before the alarm and other days, let's just say it saved my life more times than I can count.
