Chp 13 Pt. 2 The Fairies

Everyone finishes breakfast and gathers outside to prepare to leave. Derek and Mark are going over some business details that need to be taken care of while we are gone. Mark is also going to have the elders followed. Aspen is sure it’s elder Carole but believes it’s magic masking her, preventing him from truly seeing whether her intentions are good or bad. “Is every body ready,” asks Dimitri.

“The fairies are aware we coming,” I ask Dimitri.

“Yes, they new this day would be coming and they’ve done their best at explaining to Katerina. She is not taking the news very well. Luckily her mate is there comforting her.”

“Wait? How does she have a mate if she has been stuck there this whole time,” asks Derek.

“We can ask them that after we get her to trust us. She also has a son,” Dimitri replies.
