I feel as if I have been stabbed in the heart. I clutch my chest and tears roll down my cheeks. I know in that moment, uncle Gabriel has died. Anger surges through me as I call upon my powers. I may not be able to cause pain to the zombie creatures by boiling their blood but that doesn’t mean I can’t kill the traitors.

Screams echo across the field as traitors drop to their knees in pain. This brings the attention of the zombie creatures who are now killing everything in their path.

“Maliyah no,” says Aspen as he places a hand on my shoulder.

My anger calms, but I already succeeded at I what I wanted. Most of the traitors are dead while others are retreating.
