I see a shadow above me and when I look up I see Aspen flying and hit a tree. He struggles to get up and I look in the direction he came from. I don’t think Maliyah realized she mind linked everyone as I hear her cries for help the moment I catch sight of her. I am closer than her parents and immediately rush to her aid.
A few shifters flank my left and right and we all attack Alastor together. Maliyah appears to be unconscious now but I can hear her steady breathing. Alastor shifts into his human form and just smirks at us.

We lay the kids down for bed as does Mark and Daniela. It’s nice to see the children together, safe and sound and back to what was once normal.
