There has been so much death and sadness, Derek and I decide to have a small celebration for the twin’s first birthday. Derek says normally it would be a huge pack celebration but with everything that has happened we haven’t had time to plan it and I feel it would be poor taste to have a party after we just had a funeral.

Today is Thierry’s birthday and tomorrow will be Accalia’s but we will still celebrate their birthday together. Maliyah is finally able to take the boot off her leg but we still don’t let her train or ride Beauty. I want her to fully rest and she is still grounded. When I wake up I find Derek is not in bed.
