WEDDING

CHAPTER 1 WEDDING

"We may have lost our little angel, but we know he or she is looking down on us, happy for us."

It's their wedding day and right now she is standing before him saying her vows to him, in their sudden wedding. She stopped for a while and sobbed hard, but Nicholas assured her by squeezing her hand saying it was alright.

“You have become my lover, my companion, and my best friend. There's no one else I'd want to build a life with. I get to have you by my side, my love, and my husband, for eternity. The moon smiles on us today, our wedding day, and how can it not. With our hearts beating together as one, our love warms the world. I love you with all my heart. You're my love, light, and soulmate. You're the person that keeps me singing, smiling, and laughing. I give you this ring as a sign of my love that's forever, eternal and never-ending, like the circle in this ring.”

“You may now kiss the bride.” the priest announced.

Nicholas pulled her into his arms, opened the shawl covering her face, and kissed her with all that he felt, while she responded with the same intensity.

“I love you”

“I love you too”

“Always” they said in unison before capturing each other’s lips once again, sharing a deep heartfelt kiss touching everyone’s hearts.

Nicholas held her by the nape and kept the kiss going, ignoring the crowd who were going crazy and screamed that they should get a room or wait till the honeymoon, but alas Nicholas domineeringly pulled her waist and kissed her till they were both gasping for air.

Their foreheads touched, hands intertwined, like their invisible heartstrings that no one could ever cut or butt in with its solid and formidable durability.

“I have always imagined you wearing a wedding dress walking towards me, and you look so pretty, but those imaginations could not match up to how beautiful you are right now. Way beyond words and thoughts could comprehend. I can see it, my whole world through you, through your beautiful eyes that reflects only me alone.”

He whispered on her ears after the long passionate kiss that weakened Zane’s knees. She looked at the man and saw how his eyes flickered under the setting sun, casting a shadow below his eyes, making his already majestic look even more ethereal.

The two of them walked hand in hand through the aisle with the red carpet plastered across it. Around them were petals falling from the sky as Nicholas hired a jet that threw rose petals of different colors from the sky. Making it appear that it was raining with petals of flowers.

They reached the end of the aisle and a series of congratulatory remarks resounded, some even went ahead and shook their hands, while those who are pretty familiar to them tried to talk and socialize.

“Zane” a fairly familiar voice resounded from behind her, it was the voice of someone who had aged a lot and seems to have seen death before them. She raised her head, looked over in the direction of the voice.
