Act 13: The Bar

Devyn has been awake since 6 am, staring at her bedroom ceiling. Tonight was her performance at The Siren Song, and she felt surprisingly confident about it. Singing was her life, she didn’t care about ‘making it’ as a famous singer’ she just wanted to perform for people. Being on stage was like a drug to her, which is why she enjoyed dancing at The Rabbit Hole. She was essentially ‘performing’.

She drags herself out of bed and runs her fingers through her hair as she walks towards the kitchen for some coffee. She had a pretty good feeling about tonight, for some reason she felt as if it would change her life. Shaking her head with a smile, she pours herself a cup of freshly roasted coffee. Clarissa must have been up early to make this.
