Chapter 231

Roy held Abel firmly on his mouth as he tried to make a sound when he was pierced by thorns around the bush they hid themselves. He turned his head slowly to notice Roy and at that time, Roy tilted his head as a gesture so he won't have to make the sound he was about to make as it could rat them out since he was trying to hide himself from whosever that was stalking them.

He withdrew his hand from Abel's mouth and closed his eyes. He tilted his head subsequently with his lips partly opened as he tried to catch the scent a second time all for the sole purpose of getting the direction the scent was coming from.

``Why does this smell this way... I've come across this wolf before but I don't know where,`` He thought to himself and packed a fistful of sand in his hand. He propelled his head forward and peeped to have a look at his surroundings but he sighted no one.

"We can't stay here all night... maybe you're mistaken Roy," Abel whispered to him with a low tone.
