Vivian's POV

Being a seer has helped to keep me alive all this while. You know, I get to see people's past and even their future. I got to know what someone had planned or what the person was planning. Though it had always taken a toil out of me, I do feel exhausted whenever I had to use that. The day you were taken because of Jane, the woman that always claimed to love and cherish you, I didn't know at first because she did not come back to any of us.

I waited outside even though we had never done that once before, you know how it is, we don't stay out late in the dark because of being taken but I had to wait. I can't fathom the reality of losing you. I sat for hours until Jane came out of nowhere. I ran to meet her with the aim of seeing you by her side but you were not there. Laurel, you were not there.

I questioned her why you're not with her but she kept silent, she felt remorseful that she did bring you along with her or maybe that was one of her sly tricks she had always used
