Chapter Fifteen

Cara felt sorry for Laurel after hearing her story. Cara had a peaceful and blissful childhood, Her father being an Alpha and the Luna of her pack, she had no idea how one could be an outcast since when she was young, hated by everyone except for her mother and father and later sold as a slave.

"I'm sorry Laurel, I had no idea how much you suffered." She said, cleaning the tears rolling down her eyes with her thumb. Laurel cried silently, unable to control herself.

"This can't be the end of us, we must somehow escape." She said, giving Laurel a sense of hope.

Cara sighed and inhaled. She wanted to say something but stopped again. "You're thinking whether you should tell me about yourself or not." Laurel asked, already knew the answer to the question

"How do you know... it seems like you have some special ability after all." She chuckled.

She told her about herself, why she wanted to escape from the pack. Laurel said nothing, only smiled at her. She gave a smirk and leaned on the wall
