Chapter Nineteen

Cara and Laurel stood before Roy who was already sitting beside Priya on her bed. Laurel glanced through her room since this was her first time of seeing the view of it. She had always passed by and sight the outward part of the building. Cara stared at Priya, and turned around again. Cara had been to her room countless times but after the incident of the lost gold chain of Priya, she had been restricted ever since then.

Roy had told Priya to order her maid to go summon Cara which she did. Cara was surprised at first when she saw Priya's maid. She could not have followed her not after she mentioned the name of Roy. Laurel insisted on going with Cara and that was why she was in there with them.

"Thank you, Roy." She hugged him the instant she saw him. She put no faith in any other person than Roy and also knew it was Roy that got her out including Laurel from the prison. Roy had told her to thank Priya also, since she was the one who spoke on her behalf and claimed her to be innocent.
