Chapter 33

I can’t be thankful enough for what happened. This still feels like a dream, a dream I don’t want to ever wake up from. I can’t believe, everything is going to be fine, after a whole year of tears and pain, Khalil is finally going to get better.

As I left the doctor's office, I head down to see Khalil. I can’t wait to break the news to him. He will be so happy, I bet he won’t believe me until the doctor tells him. Oh lord, thank you for everything. I had a broad smile on my face when I walked into Khalil’s room, but the smile faded once I didn’t see Khalil.

"Khalil,” I said but there wasn’t any response from him. I knocked on the bathroom door and placed my ear on the door. No sound was coming from inside, I opened the door and peeked my head though, Khalil wasn’t in the bathroom. "Khalil" I called out

I wonder where he is.

I was looking around the room when a nurse walked in "Hi, can you please tell me where Khalil is, I mean the patient that was treated here."

"Uhm….I don’t know"
