Liora’s pov

“Arghh, you again?” I complained when I saw Ava walking beside me.

I was starting to get tired of her antics. I did not need this type of person to add to my frustration.

When was she going to drop all of this?

Ava clicked her tongue.

“Why are people so ingratiating?” She questioned.

I stopped on my tracks to glare at her.

Was she going to taunt me about being a scholarship student while she paid fully?!

Tsk, I knew she was just like all of them.

Proud and obnoxious!

Liora’s pov“Girl, you look so devastated,” Ava commented, chewing her fries. I picked up my phone and stared at myself in the camera app. “I don't look half of how devastated I am,” I retorted, clicking my tongue angrily. Ava snorted, trying to hide her laughter. “Just laugh if y….” She started laughing before I could finish my sentence. I threw my hands in the air with a frustrated sigh. “Really? Ava? You are to console me and tell me it is going to be fine, not laugh loudly at my predicament,” I told her, glaring at her slightly. “I can't help but laugh—”“You have this look on,” Ava said, and made the funniest look. I threw my fries at her. “What do I do?”“I don't even want to speak to him let alone plan our project together!” I whisper-yelled. “He didn't seem like he wanted to even be in the same class with me earlier. You saw how he spoke to the teacher? I just know this is going to be a one-of-a-kind hell ride,” I complained bitterly, suddenly losing my appetite. “

Ronan’s povEveryone stared at me in class after the teacher announced the names. “Why did I have to be the less fortunate one?”“Say something! Are you just going to take it?!” Sierra whispered to me, raising her brows in confusion. I turned to Kael and saw that he had a smirk on his face. “Bastard!” I cursed under my breath. I am sure he was happy he wasn't the scapegoat. I turned to look at Loria and saw that she was devastated by the news. The fuck? Why does she look more aggravated than I was?I was the one being paired with her, I should have had that expression on, not her!“I am sorry but I can't be paired with her!” I let out, getting on my feet. Our teacher stared at me in surprise. “Is there anything wrong, Mr Durban?” He asked. I almost rolled my eyes, please I just didn't want to be paired with her!I could take anyone else! Even her lousy friend but definitely not her. “Yes, I have a problem with my partner. I don't wanna be paired with her,” I said, going stra

Liora’s pov“You should go with the boys today,” Cecile said while brushing my hair. I almost rolled my eyes in response. That's the last people I wanted to be in the same space with. “Urhmm, definitely not,” I whispered, arranging my books in my bag. Cecile stopped and stared at me. “Do you have issues with the triplets? Are they the cause of your bruises? Why don't you at least speak up?” Cecile said, sighing in frustration. “Issues? Oh, come on, Cecile. That's the funniest thing I have heard from you. We are totally fine, as a matter of fact, we are very playful in school,”I flapped my hands, signalling for her to move closer to me. “We don't really speak in the pack house because they want everyone to see them like an adult. They are the next Alpha of the pack, they want that respect,” I lied. How did I get so good at lying?I hated that I was doing this but she kept pestering about the damn thing. She chuckled slightly and shook her head. “That is such a non-factor. I

Liora’s pov“Come over here my darling daughter, I have been wanting to speak to you,” Alpha Alaric called out to me. Shit!I was trying to avoid him so he wouldn’t see my bruises. What do I say now?I briefly looked at the brothers and saw the look of disapproval on their faces. Taking a few deep breaths, I walked in his direction. “Don’t you want to speak to me?” He asked, raising his brows. I quickly shook my head. “No, it is not like that. I am just a bit tired.” I complained, feigning a yawn. “Ohh, I know school can be hectic but I have something important to discuss with you.” He said. All this time, I managed to hide my hands under my sweatshirt. Thankfully, that was the only area I was fully bruised. “I hope you know you have been fully introduced into the family, you also have to handle some responsibilities and that is what I wanted to introduce you to,” Alpha Allaric said. I nodded my head almost immediately, beaming happily. Something about hearing that just made

Elias’ pov“Hey, Elias, wanna join us?” Sierra stopped to ask me. I sighed and grabbed my backpack as I followed the group.I didn't know why I still followed them despite how reluctant I was. It was like I was bonded to my brothers. If I wasn't with them then I felt incomplete. “Don't do anything silly,” Kael whispered in my ear as we walked in the hallway. I glared at him in response. “Listen, I don't trust the way you have been moving lately. You'd better speak to us if anything is the matter,”I rolled my eyes in response. “There is nothing. You are just being your usual aggressive self,” I retorted. “Kael, you need to hear this,” one of the girls said, trying to drag him away. I almost scoffed. At this point, everyone was obsessed with torturing Liora. Apparently, Sierra connived with the whole class to torture Loria. She said Loria and her new friend pushed her and caused her to get a bruise and they needed to be punished. “I can't wait for this,” Ronan said, rubbing h

Proud and obnoxious! To hell with their high ranks and money, I didn’t give a hoot about it anymore. “You walk alone every time and I was trying to help you,” she said and shrugged. “I don’t need your help,” I retorted sharply. Help? She meant taunt, she was only doing this to taunt me. “When will you see that I just genuinely want to be your friend. What did these people do to you? You are completely broken,” Ava let out, shaking her head in pity. Whether she was being sincere about wanting to be my friend or not, she
