Chapter twenty-two

Bryson POV

We were on patrol in the woods when we heard a car pull over. I wasn't sure what it was but I had to hide to confirm my doubts along with Aiden we hide beside the heaps of soil that had creepers crawling on them.

"Alpha Henry Bryson, it's better if we—'' Aiden's speech was cut short with my hand motioning to my mouth that he kept mute.

"What is it?" Aiden questioned.

Right ahead of us, there are two men dressed in black and wearing a cap that hid their identity and they held in their hands black leather that was heavy like a whole person inside. And alongside pulling a woman that had her face covered.

"It looks like a corpse." I'm not certain. I tried to peep. Speaking the woods and hearing some rattling sound they came to a halt.

"Yes, you're right. There's digging at the front too." We heard a soothing sound.
