Elle Chapter thirteen

Elle really didn't understand what had just happened. Not only was she confused, but she was also uncomfortably hot and bothered and really needed some relief. A part of her was disgusted by Rain but, another part a secret part that was becoming not so secret was hungry for him. She wanted to know what it would be like for him to tie her up in her own bed in her own home.

But- another thought came crashing down around her. The break in, her mother, the attack. Elle could never go back to her house again. Elle wasn't safe and yet her mother was nowhere to be found. Feelings of abandonment or creeping in, Elle began to feel herself spiral into a rage and a dark sadness. Candles began to flicker all around her. The door to Aunt Hilda's house swung open and there Elle’s mother Ann stumbled inside bloodied and drunk. Elle was not surprised her mother’s way of dealing with things was to drink.
