Chapter Seven

Elsa's POV

Four Days Later

"Wolf, what is it?" I asked, sitting back down on my bed after I had already stood to head over to the kitchen.

"I don't know, Elsa. Suddenly, I'm feeling very uneasy and unconvinced about what we want to do."

"Why so?" I asked, quite surprised that she'd say that. She was all giggly and enthusiastic when I first thought about it. Indeed, she was one of the main reasons why I chose to go on with it. Her sudden doubts put the entire plan in jeopardy and I didn't want that at all.

"What if we get caught, Elsa? That'll mean the end of us and I'm not ready to die."

She sounded so concerned, in a way I'd never seen. I mean, only a few people were thrilled by the thought of dying, so it wasn't such an easy thing to accept, but we had never been so keen on living either, especially because life wasn't worth it anyway.
