I had known from the day that I found out that Lizzy was the rightful heir to the throne and the rightful Alpha queen that there were things that she would have to do and I wouldn’t be a part of them. I knew that she was more powerful than I was and that all the Alpha duties that I had been training for my whole life would be taken over by her. But right now I felt like a wimp and I found myself struggling to find my place in the entire kingdom.

Don’t get me wrong I wanted the best for Lizzy and I felt insulted when she suggested that I was power-hungry and motivated by my hunger for power.
