CHAPTER FIFTEEN:TENSION IN THE PACK

SELENE'S POV.

After the fight at Caelum's pack over me, I kept wondering why they're fighting over the one they rejected and humiliated. They all hated me, called me a curse yet fought because of me as though I'm a trophy to be polished and paraded.

Darius's pack felt like a patch of warmth in a world that had lately been all chill and iron. They at least feed me which never happened in Caelum's pack and my own pack. Ever since I was brought to Dairus's pack, he has not come to see me even if it's once. The same thing that Caelum did when he threw me into the prison. What Dairus did was to hand me over to one of his guards. He left the tending to one of his guards.

Sometimes loneliness feels like a fist around my windpipe but I preferred it to Caelum's pack.

One day the guard came to attend to me, I picked up courage and asked him a question he was not expecting.

"Please sir, I want to ask you a question. Can I go ahead?"
