THERON'S POV

“Why the hell do you keep following me around?” My tone seethed with impatience.

Vincent abruptly stopped in his tracks, and turned to face me. “I'm sorry Alpha, I didn't mean to disturb you,” he paused to draw in a breath. “But we have a little bit of situation,”

I suppressed the groan that threatened to spill from my lips. What is it this time? My guts screamed that it was another rogue attack. Wild feelings sang through my veins as I made mental note of it.

A long exasperated sigh escaped the corner of my lips. “When did the attack happen?” My voice came out rough.

“In the dead of the night,” he said after a few beats passed. Then he continued, “I swear by the moon goddess, nobody saw it coming,”

What the hell was he talking about now?

My eyebrows furrowed in a frown, as the vein on my head pumped with a surge of adrenaline. “Vincent, how many men do I have again?” The question landed in the air like a vat of acid over leather. “Remind me please,”

THERON'S POV Settling into Arcadia academy was hell! It's been a week since I got to the academy. And the only good thing was that Christmas was piping so close. My spirit was above the ceiling. But… it was hard keeping up with Rylan's excesses. I couldn't deal with his cocky sensual stares that melted my bones. Ugh! They made me even more sick, when the butterflies went off in my stomach. My wolf on the other hand, was this close to going crazy. The more time she spent in his presence, taking in his scent, the more intense her desires to have him imprint on her. I slipped my jacket over my shoulders, and a bang sounded against the door. “Give me a second Shirley,” I said, and hooked my earrings in. I took in my reflection, and beamed in satisfaction. Shirley raised her hands in excitement. “Heya! You look good, I'm sure it'll be easy to pick a date for you.” Her voice dripped with confidence. I flinched. “What date are you talking about?” She slapped her hands against her forehe

RIONA'S POV Elara fumed with resentment at Kanesha's presence. Unlike me, Elara couldn't bear the mere sight of Kanesha. Not after everything she'd done. The pain from her torture was still there. Still, vivid and no matter how much I tried to tamper down on it, She (Kanesha) made it twice worse. Prior to now, I'd sensed her trailing behind us. She was always in the loop. Oh, she'd give anything to have Theron look at her in a different way. I bet she was scheming a way to whoop my ass right now. Elara let out a loud growl, before she darted through the woods. A loud groan pierced through the air, as she chased closely behind me. ‘I swear by the moon goddess, I'm going to teach you a bitter lesson in front of your mate,’ She hissed.Elara grounded her fangs. ‘Have fun doing that,’ She snapped. As we sprinted, I perked my senses for the slightest wisp of scent for Theron. When I couldn't, I concentrated on getting to the bottom of the lake. ‘You just watch me become the next Luna

THERON'S POV ‘Don’t do anything dumb man,’ Vuk warned. For some reason, he didn't trust my instincts, which was quite a disappointment for lack of better words. My lips tipped in a crooked smile. ‘Vuk, you're not about to tell me what to do,’ I said in a retort. He hissed. ‘You don't get to tell me that, Theron. She's our mate,” His breath came out ragged. ‘We would protect her with everything we have,’ I held back the groan that threatened to spill from the corner of my lips. I wasn't going to oblige his request. I choose to do whatever I please. My lips thinned in defiance. “If you get to the lake that lies in the North of the pack, then you can leave the pack,” I paused. A delicate never tightened at the glint in her eyes. Still, it didn't come as a surprise that she wanted to leave. Riona's life in her pack was already a nightmare. And I wonder why she'd want to keep it that way. “I'm in—” My hands curled into a fist. “I'm not done yet,” I cut in. She flinched. I waited f

RIONA'S POV Perhaps, it was shock. Maybe it was sheer surprise. I couldn't wrap my fingers around the right word to describe the emotion that spiralled through my veins. It was foreign, distant…Still, it managed to burn a deep hole through my veins. A few minutes ago, some of the barricade he'd built around him fell off. And now, now, it was there. The anger. The pain in his voice wasn't the type one could ignore. It was obvious. Like an angry elephant in the room. My legs felt like lead was shoved right into it. No matter how much I tried to drag it, it remained fixed to a spot. Alpha Theron's voice rang with the force of a metallic bell in my head. I knew there was more. I knew he was acting on defense. The way he casually talked about things. His aura that dripped with reckless abandon. It stemmed from a place of deep regret. I obviously walked into the middle of a conversation. But I’d overheard him talking about his mom, with indignation. From the way he seethed— it was obvi

  • Fated To The Ruthless Alpha    EAR LOBE

RIONA'S POV Elara whined inside of me. Lately, she craved some kind of freedom I wasn't sure I could give her, at least not yet. All she wanted every minute was to sprint back and forth through the woods. Heck! I wanted that much too. But it was best we slowed down. Especially with Kanesha in the picture. A firm knock sounded against the door. I whipped my head to the direction of the sound the minute the door flung open. My eyes first landed on his razor sharp shoulders. And a lump gathered around my throat. Alpha Theron came to full view, closing the door behind him. His piercing eyes bored a deep hole into mine, as we held gazes. He took a few inches closer, still holding gazes with me. Hell! The rays of the warm golden sun against his skin made me even more irresistible. “Close your mouth,” His voice sounded like a tease. Jeez! My cheeks flamed red. It was then I realized I'd been caught on my perusal. I quickly turned my face, but fast enough to catch the cynical look on his f

  • Fated To The Ruthless Alpha    RUGGED

THERON'S POV Snowflakes fell loosely from the evening sky. But the chatter from the pack house kept the gloominess miles away. An average height man, who looked like he was in his early sixties walked up to me. Dressed in a smart three piece suit, he bowed his grey head slightly. “Welcome Prince Rylan Walton. I am Taylor, one of the head butlers of the Sapphire stone pack house." His accent had a French hint attached to it. He gestured towards a huge golden door that had two werewolves sculpted on it. “This way please,” Taylor led the way towards the entrance door. The golden door was flanked by two extra tall Christmas trees. Oliver, Alpha of Sapphire Stone pack was a bit extra when it boiled down to Christmas. Once, he had me and Jaylin wear matching Christmas pajamas to take pictures. In his words, ‘It’ll be a souvenir when you’re finally mated.’ Blood roared behind my ears as my mind took a horrific trip down memory lane. Our lives as wealthy Lycans in the seat of power wasn

RIONA'S POV The last thing I remembered was poking Rylan to sprint to the top of the mountain. My eyes hovered around the length of the massive room. My vision, scattered fragments of colours scattered all over the place. I made to turn sideways, but the pang of pain that throbbed dangerously at the side of my head made it impossible to lift a nerve. I clutched my head in my pain, a groan escaped the corner of my lips. “Hey darling, take it slowly,” A soft feminine voice entered my ears, splintering through the fog in my mind. For once since I woke up, I gave in to the pains writhing from my cramped muscles and fell back against the bed. Camilla walked up to the side of my bed, stroking my hair soothingly. “Thank goodness you're awake,” She said with a huge smile plastered on her lips. “Rylan would be delighted to hear this,” Rylan would be delighted to hear this. Thank goodness you're awake. “Camilla…” My voice had come out muffled, straining my ever loving mind. She shushed

THERON'S POV My hands tingled with a dire need to rest around her waist, and pull her close. Riona's cheeks flamed under my intense watch. She looked down at her feet. “You're back,” Her words were throaty. I nodded. “Yeah, it's good to see you,” There was nothing in me that indicated peace. My thoughts were muddled. I covered the distance between us, till we were mere inches apart. Riona lifted her face, and our eyes locked. Damn! I'd always known she had the most beautiful set of eyes. Albeit, there were no right words to describe staring at it this close. Her eyes pierced right into the most staunch part of my heart. I scratched my hands through my hair. For the umpteenth time since I met Riona, I was at loss for words. An action that was fast becoming a norm, much to my chagrin. “How'd your training go with Vincent?” Her lips spread in a smile. Still, I could tell it wasn't genuine. “Fine. It went absolutely well,” Her throat bobbed with a hard swallow. “But, Elara and I c
