Elysia's POV

I walked into my room feeling so devastated I can't believe that Tyler tagged me as missing after ordering this men and his wife to get rid of me.

He wanted to decieve the people pretending that he was the victim, his plan is to tell them that I ran away. He wanted to ruin my reputation.

Everyone in his pack would think I betrayed him after everything when he fact he was the one at fault.

I pull off my clothes walking into the bathtub, I felt the hot water around my body calming my tensed nerves.

I need to calm myself down and not be blinded by rage. I need to create a perfect plan to take my vengeance.

"My lady, where are you" Sarah voice cut through my thoughts.

"Give me few minutes, I would be out in a moment" I said wearing my bathrobe.

"My lady, tell me everything, how did the discussion between you and the king" she asked, her eyes filled with curiosity.

"It went well, he accepted my offer to take revenge on Alpha Tyler and Alicia only then would I be his Queen" I said making Sarah smile a bit.

"Then it seems everything is now going as planned, it's time for you to get some rest now tomorrow is a very big day the starting of Alpha Tyler downfall" she said frowning at the thought of those bastards.

"Thanks Sarah, I will have my rest now" I said laying down on my bed as she stood up to take her leave.

I laid down on the bed thinking about all the that has happen today the way the alpha held my waist like I belong there, the way his lips touched my cheeks ever so tenderly.

"What are you thinking about Elysia, you need to focus on the reason you are here" I said to myself before dozing off.

"Stop, stop leave my mom alone, don't touch her" I said my voice barely audible.

I tried to get out but I couldn't, I was trapped, people men they were killing my mum stabbing her continuously with their claws

"Nooooo...." I screamed out as my mom's eyes locked with mine.

"Run Elysia, get out of the place" she whispered to me closing her eyes.

"Noo... Mum, don't go" I screamed out opening my eyes. I was shaking and sweating profusely.

I was having this same nightmare again, I had always have it since when I was young but I don't seem to remember what happened after that, just the part my mother was killed engraved into my memories.

I stood up from the bed openingy window to receive fresh air, I felt suffocated and drained.

"Why do I always have this same dream?" I asked myself.

I seemed like I was teleported back to the time my mother was killed and everything seems so real, I tried to explain this to them but instead they put the blame of my mother's murder on me.

I thought about all this thing tears slipped down my eyes "mother, I hope you are in a good place" I said to the thin air looking up.

It was morning already, I closed my window and went to have my bath.

As I finished getting ready, the maids came into my room to help me dress for the day. One of them, a gentle-looking woman with a kind smile, curtsied slightly. "My lady, the alpha has requested that you join him for breakfast," she said, her voice soft.

I nodded, feeling a flutter in my chest. I hadn't expected him to want to spend more time with me so soon. But I was curious, so I followed the maid downstairs to the dining room.

When I arrived, Adrian was already seated at the table, sipping a cup of coffee. He looked up and smiled as I approached. "Good morning," he said, his voice warm.

I took a seat beside him, and we ate together in silence for a while. The food was delicious, but I couldn't help sneaking glances at Adrian. He seemed lost in thought, his brow furrowed slightly.

As we finished up, he turned to me. "Elysia, I have a council meeting today," he said. "Would you like to accompany me?"

I was taken aback by the request. I hadn't expected him to want me to attend a council meeting. But something about it caught my attention . "Yes, I'd like that," I said, trying to sound confident.

Adrian nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "I'll show you the way," he said, standing up.

As we walked to the meeting room, I couldn't help but feel excited about it. What would the council be like? Would they be friendly, or would they resent me for being in their pack?

Adrian seemed to sense my unease, and he placed a reassuring hand on my back. "Don't worry," he said. "I'll be with you the whole time."

I smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards him. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.

As we entered the meeting room, I saw a group of serious-looking men and women seated around a large table. They all turned to look at me, their faces was filled with surprise and curiosity.

Adrian stepped forward, his voice confident. "This is Elysia," he said. "She's... My wife to be."

The council members nodded, their eyes lingering on me, they were filled with surprise but they covered it up, I felt a shiver run down my spine, but Adrian's presence beside me was reassuring.

The meeting began, and I listened intently as the council members discussed various issues affecting the pack. Adrian participated in the discussion, his voice authoritative and calm.

As I watched him, I felt a sense of admiration. He was a natural leader, and his pack seemed to respect him.

I felt a bit scared, I would be the queen of this pack one day. I was a bit surprised that the council members didn't react the way I expected.

Maybe, just maybe they will accept me into there pack.
