Adrian's POV

I looked through the details of his pack, I noticed  that his pack had issues with getting water, yet he was acting so high and mighty instead of taking care of his pack.

He was so proud to ask my pack for help since Elysia would be involved. I just couldn't believe that yjis bile man was trying to get to me through Elysia because he thinks that I might not help him.

How could this ma be so foolish putting his ego first before the people, he was trying to toy with her emotions again just go get what he wants.

I called for a meeting witg all the pack alpha's we need to discuss about the incomes of the pack and the things they were lacking.

I wanted to see if alpha tyler was going to say anything about it or about how the pack income where missing.

I walked into the meeting hall to see the all the Alpha's and elders sitted on there  chairs waiting for me.

I scanned around the room to see alpha Tyler sitted by the corner of the hall.

Clearing my throat to make my presence known they all stood up bowing down to me as I walked to my seat.

"I have called this urgent meeting to discuss the lack of water in the emerald pack" watching as alpha Tyler's face widen with shock.

It was obvious that he hadn't expected me to find out about it but I had to pull this through.

I need him out of her and as far away from Elysia as possible.

"Would you like to share more light to the problems of your pack Alpha Tyler"I said to me when he wasn't standing up.

I smiled at myself when he stood up looking confused and nervous.

"My pack has been suffering from water crisis as our waters has been contaminated by mechanical substance" he said looking down as everyone around gasped in shock.

"I wonder how your people are surviving" one of the elders said.

"This is really terrible" another said.

"Why didn't you talk about this when you first came here, this is really a serious issue" I said to him.

He looked worried like a child caught doing something bad "I wanted to talk about it but I didn't want to disturb the your wedding preparation" she said while everyone nodded with sympathetic look.

He had turned the tables making me look like the wrong one.

I knew he wanted people to complain that I neglected my duties because of the wedding but it failed, the people knows that I have been very good in my duties.

"You will be allocated enough money, you are to lead the drawing of water from our pack your pack, it's easier that way and better" I said and everyone nodded in agreement.

"You need to leave this pack as soon as possible" I said looking at the frown on his face.

He wanted to say something but changed his mind nodding in agreement. With that the meeting ended and I was able to make sure that Tyler was leaving here after all.

I could have easily chased him away but I don't want anyone pointing fingers at Elysia saying she made me to that.

I don't want that happening to my Elysia. I want her to be respected and worshipped by the people I just hoped she would be ready for this post.

As the meeting ended and the other alphas and elders filed out of the hall, Tyler wait behind, his eyes locked on me with a weird smile on his face. I raised an eyebrow, surprised by his boldness.

"Alpha Adrian," he said, his voice low and calculating. "I think you've underestimated me. You think you've won, but I'm just getting started."

Inwas so surprised by his courage to say this, I could easily kill him and no one would question me but I can't do that because I need Elysia herself to take her revenge. I can't do anything to him but just watched all that he was going to do but keep him far away from her.

I smirked, my eyes never leaving his. "I'm waiting for that, Tyler. I'm eager to see what you have planned."

Tyler's smile grew wider, his eyes glinting with malice. "You'll see. I'll come back, and I'll make sure Elysia comes back to me. She's mine, and I'll do whatever it takes to get her back."

I chuckled, the sound low and mocking. "I'm shaking in my boots, Tyler. But until then, I suggest you focus on fixing the problems in your pack. You have a lot of work to do."

"You will need to oner see the drawing of the water and that is a dirty job for a worthless person like you" I said to him.

Tyler's face twisted in anger, but he bit back his retort, spinning on his heel and storming out of the hall.

As he disappeared from view, I turned to Kyle, who was standing by the door. "Kyle, what's the status on the full moon?"

Kyle's expression turned serious. "It's tonight, Alpha. The full moon is tonight."

My eyes widened in shock as realization dawned on me. I had completely forgotten about the full moon, and Elysia... Elysia was still recovering from her injuries.

"Make sure Elysia is not anywhere near me today, I can't have her close to me today", my voice low and urgent. "We need to make sure she's safe tonight."

Kyle nodded, his face set in a determined expression. "I'll take care of it, Alpha."

I looked at Kyle with a pleading look and he nodded understanding what was going on in my mind "don't worry Adrian nothing is going to happen" he said before walking away.

But as he turned to leave, I felt a sense of unease growing inside me. What would happen tonight, under the light of the full moon? And how would Elysia react to the call of the moon?
