Barrin's POV...

My eyes scanned her reaction; she did a good job of masking whatever emotion she felt. The closer one gets to Aria, the more evident her two-wolf scent is. But it's none of my business, and that is really not why I am here.

There is a need to put things straight with her. Considering her unfavourable condition, one would think she would be the most reserved. Instead, the lady remains sassy and demanding. Every bit of it gets on my nerve.

It's more annoying that Kyle doesn't seem bothered about what her presence might do to us. Ever since Aria's arrival, the both of us have had to argue repeatedly, and she is always the bane of discussion. I am so not allowing someone like Aria to ruin my happiness. I shifted on the couch well, holding her gaze.

"I want to believe you didn't come here for a staring contest with me. Why won't you just say what you have to say and leave? I don't intend to waste my breakfast on you." She said.
