The door slammed, a sound that echoed the chaos in my head. Damn it! Setiray. She was a goddamn whirlwind. A chaotic, intoxicating, infuriating whirlwind. But she was right. I was an sash*le. Cold. Distant. And now, possessive as hell. And sure as hell had no right whatsoever. I cursed Nathaniel out. If I hadn’t drunk so much, I’d never have allowed him to have so much control over me in that moment.

I scrubbed a hand down my face, which did nothing to calm the storm brewing inside. I needed to fix this. No, I doubt anything I say would fix anything. Maybe I could at least stop her from doing something stupid. I hope.

I surged out of the room. The party slammed into me like a wall of noise and bodies. Music pulsed, laughter echoed in the night sky, but I only had eyes for one thing: the flash of her dress disappearing out of the crowd into the pitch-dark night that held the forest captive.

I plowed through the crowd, earning glares and muttered curses. Didn't matter. Nothing mattered

Hey eyes—those wild, stubborn, infuriating eyes—locked on to mine, her pupils blown wide, chest heaving. Every roll of my hips dragged another desperate sound from her lips. Her whimpers that faded into cries, shredded me apart in the best way possible. My mind became a blur, impossible to think straight. To breathe. To stop. Her walls clenched around me so tight I swore I saw stars as heat crawled up my spine with every pulse of her slick core around me. The scent of her wrapped around me, thick and intoxicating, flooding every single one of my senses like a devastatingly beautiful plague. My jaw clenched tightly, “Setiray…f*ck…” The words were a growl against her jaw as my hips snapped forward again. Harder. Deeper. Every thrust forced a sharp cry from her throat. Her nails clawed at my back, a brand I wanted burned into my skin forever. The string of her marks lingered in a maddening way that made me want more. The sound of flesh slapping against flesh was like a melody, one that

His eyes stayed glued to me, with anticipation. Need. Desire. Surprise. And maybe that’s what gave me the nerve. Because underneath all the teasing and flirting… I was scared. My first time.I had always envisioned being the one being pursued, the one to lie down and bask in the pleasure of my mate's touch. For them to treat me like a delicate flower that could whither at any moment. But after meeting him, I realized that I didn’t want any of that. The way his breath hitched beneath my touch. How his muscles clenched and went rigid. And the way he looked at me right now? Like, I was the one with the power? Made me brave.I shifted my hips forward, dragging my slick core along his length to watch his jaw clench. His hands gripped my thighs like he was trying to ground himself, like the second I moved again, he might finally break. I reveled in the way his c*ck jerked beneath me. Good. Feel what I’ve been feeling for days, for weeks. For all the times you f*cked around with me, Azaria

Her on her knees, between my thighs, it was a vision pulled straight from sin. Every inch of her was flushed, glowing with confidence and defiance. She didn’t back down, no, she was flipping the damn board. And I stayed still, letting her do as she f*cking pleased like she owned me.My hand slid through my hair before gripping at the roots with white knuckles and a tight jaw. My chest heaved like I’d just run a f*cking marathon. The last of her kisses still burned trails across my abdomen. The ghost of her tongue—still slick against my skin—had lit me up from the inside out, like my veins were pumping fire instead of blood.I wasn’t new to this. I’ve had my fair share of mouths, of pleasure, of a woman's touch. But this? It wasn’t just lust. It was destruction. A force to be reckoned with. And I was ready to drown in it.Her hand gripped me through my pants, bold and unforgiving, before slipping my waistband down and freeing my aching length. Her eyes preyed on me, devouring every rea

I didn’t dare breathe, not properly. Not with the heat of his touch seeping into my skin, seeping in like lava. Or how his featherlight touches sent jolts through my nerves and shivers through my body. I was slowly losing focus, barely remembering what had come before this. What was I overthinking about again…?His palm slid higher—slowly—skimming the underside of my ribs, his fingers dragging along my skin like he was memorizing it. My jaw clenched, refusing to allow him the satisfaction of a reaction. Ace moved like a man who already knew the effect he had on me.Every inch of him radiated confidence. Not the fake, performative kind, but something deeper. Like a promise written in a different language and spoken only through muscle and heat.“Breathe,” he murmured into the back of my neck. His voice grew lower, roughened by restraint and a sliver of amusement. “If you keep clenching like that, bug…I’m going to think you want me to lose control.”His hand continued to explore my body

The den Ace had dug out was well dug and indeed spacious, allowing me to freely stretch out and even roll around if I felt. I had no complaints, other than the fact it was freaking cold. I should’ve worn a hoodie or something. I curled up on the handmade mat of leaves and sand, hoping for a bit more comfort.I wrapped my arms tight around myself, my legs clenched together as I tried to pretend the cold wasn’t sinking bone-deep. But my body had other plans; no matter how much I resisted, the shivering wouldn’t stop. Not just from the cold—but from everything I didn’t say earlier.Everything I didn’t let myself feel. But now, alone in the dim quiet of my den, Ace wasn’t here to distract me. The only thing of him remaining was the shadow of his voice, clinging to my skin, stubborn and smoky like the embers outside. It was…new. I had my doubts about him even answering my

The fire that had crackled and popped eventually simmered down to a quiet pulse of orange and red. Setiray sat with her arms crossed, and her legs tucked up against her chest. I bet she regrets not bringing a hoodie or something right now. She’d barely said a word since we settled in, but her jaw set like she was trying to chew through whatever thoughts were scraping at her skull. I could practically hear the gears turning from here. Her chin was slightly tilted, like she wasn’t watching me from the corner of her eye. But, she was. And not in an admiration I like, more of a “patiently waiting for this assh*le to leave already”. “You like your den?” I asked casually, popping one of the berries the guys had gathered earlier into my mouth. “It’s spacious and really cozy. I might even have to sleep there tonight.”Her head turned so quickly that it almost gave me whiplash. “Huh? Wait, never mind that. Why are you still here? Shouldn’t you be with your little friends around the corner i
