Alaric's POV

That guy walking up, looking me in the eyes, without wavering, I knew he wanted to embrace her so I bit back that initial jealousy then nodded to him. He was obviously respectful unlike most would be. Then I saw him look to his Alpha, rage seeping from him but he looked back at her, embracing her in a tight hug iniwhich she returned.

I knew they were speaking to one another but words weren't processing with me at the moment as I watched the moment around us all.

No one on either side was moving, some slowly shifting back then putting some clothes on but they all stood in place just watching everything unfold around them.

The fighting had stopped, no more blood shed. We lost a few on both sides, I felt the link break 6 times, others definitely injured.
