'And where on earth do you think you are going?' Seth asked, barring the only exit in the house, that Diana knew of, at least.

'Home to The Twilight Pack, of course, where else?' she retorted, trying to nudge him away from the way but he wouldn't bulge.

'You think that you can leave me like this?' he asked and Diana was bemused. 'After waiting for you for a year and half, you think I will allow the wait to be in vain?' he asked.

'What do you mean?' she asked, not fully comprehending.

'I shall 5ake that which I should have taken long ago. How can those years be wasted?' he said, advancing towards her leeringly.

'What do you want to do?' she asked, suddenly scared.

'I shall mate with you now, to compensate for the years I have spent pining for you!' he said.

She summoned courage to push him away from the way and rushed towards the door. She turned the knob but the door was locked. When had he locked the door, she wondered and realized it must have been when he had stood baring the door.
