Alpha Ethan (POV)

I could feel my wolf side surging forward the scent was overpowering, it was Renee’s normal scent of warm vanilla but sweeter, before I even knew what I was doing, I was back beside her bed and nuzzling my nose against her neck, inhaling deeply as if my life depended on it.

I wanted Renee before she started flooding the room with hormones. Now I more than wanted her. I wanted to be one with her, I wanted to enter her body and never leave. I forced myself back, she didn’t need my help yet, I had to control myself. I pinched my nose closed hoping to block the amazing aroma that was filling the air.

I focused on her injuries, doing my best to control any other thoughts. I did notice that the burns on her arm looked less red and inflamed, which meant this must be working she is starting to heal.

Every inch of her skin, that was exposed was now glistening with a thin layer of sweat. I watched a bead of sweat run down her neck and in between her perfect breasts disappear
