Chapter 8. Alpha Kelvin's POV

I was woked up by a knock at my door I walk to the door and opened it and some David standing at the door.

"Man, you are just waking up? "he asked as he entered my room.  

"I couldn't sleep last night "I answered. "That is unlike you, let's go see my parents ".

"Ok give me some minutes" I answered as I went into my room and headed for the bedroom.

Thanks for my wolf speed I was done in no time. I came out and we headed to his parents house. When we got there I saw his mum after a pleasant greeting she headed back to the kitchen which looks like it is where she was when she had the door bell she invited me to breakfast and I waited. After about 20 minutes I preserve my mates scent I was surprised. I waited as her scent got stronger which seems like she is headed towards the door to the sitting room. Where I am. Immediately the door opened I heard her melodious voice and she closed the door and looked at me. I was also looking into her eyes when Dave's voice broke the moment. She didn't even spell me a second glance as she headed towards him.No greeting.

I was pissed for getting ignored by her of all people, she's supposed to acknowledge my presence the most instead she behaved as if I'm not there. My wolf was rather restless.

'why is she ignoring us'my wolf asked worriedly.

'it's not like I care'. I answered.

'What did you mean by that, you are the one that made her hate us' he said blaming me

'how did I do that?' I asked but he ignored me.

I continued listening to my mates voice which was like a beautiful music to my ear. she is bossy, commanding and innocent at the same time after a little chit chat with her family. She went upstairs to take a shower. When she came downstairs she was wearing a knee-length Red dress. When I saw her my whole being was restless I want to take her that instant, I couldn't control my wolf. I was getting hard and when she was reminded of my presence she greeted me like she didn't notice my presence from the beginning. I was happy about the conversation and pissed at the same time why did she keep ignoring me.

As I was listening to the conversation, conversation made me and my wolf displeased, flirting with a guy in my presence and he's coming over very soon to pick her up. She even left her food unfinished, she thank everyone and me also, I didn't answer her, she greeted again, drawing her family's attention to me,she could feel my anger and displease but she want to add fuel to the fire, I answered her while smiling telling her that I know her games, the way her family was behaving I noticed that her family didn't know who I am to her. she went upstairs dressed up and came downstairs and she looked even stunning with her hair flowing down her shoulders. I couldn't breathe very well she bide everyone farewell as she headed for the door.

"Dave, it's time to go and take care of the packs affair ". I said as I thank his family again before heading outside.

When I got outside I saw my mate hugging the guy I met with that yesterday. I let out a warning growl and strode towards them. I took my mates hand and headed for their backyard I would have beaten that guy to a plump but I had to put my anger in check because he's my subject and I don't blame him because he didn't know that she's my mate.

"Alpha Kevin, what's wrong? "He asked confused.

" Stay out of this "I snapped trying hard not to punch him straight on the face. I drag her to the back of the house and push her against the wall, I couldn't resist myself from to see her. She tried pushing me away but I hold her even tighter. I was mad at her how could she hug some other guy in my presence but not kiss me at all. Did she hate me that much. I released her a little when I tasted blood.

"Stop "she shouted and she pushed me away.

"Stop?, Did I just hear you say stop? "I asked for me with anger.

"You answer the call of a guy in the presence of your mate as if that's not enough you also hugged him"I said losing my cool.

"Why shouldn't I answer my call, as long as I can remember, my mate doesn't want me and choosed someone else over me,am I also not allowed to speak or associate with other people or even choose another mate? You don't have any rights over me,did you get that? "She asked angrily.

"You are not allowed to choose another mate ".

"And why should I?" Before she could finish her sentence I lost my control and raise up my hand to slap her.

"Aaaaah"she shouted and she covered her face.

"Kelvin"I had David's voice behind me my hand hung in the air as I see her raise her head and looked at me in horror and fear. She run away that's when I also noticed the other guys presence, he followed her out. I punched the wall in frustration. I never raise my hand to any woman and today I raised it to my very own mate. I really hate myself right now.

"Kelvin did you actually raise your hand to slap my cousin? "He asked in disbelief. 

I don't know what to say and I don't have any excuses.

"Dave it's not what it seems like "I tried to explain. 

"Not what it seems like, which means my eyes is lying to me "he asked.

"Not to really I was just... "

"Do you mind telling me what's going on here Kelvin? They don't seem to be yourself since yesterday "he asked before I could complete my sentence.

That's when I knew that I couldn't hide it anymore. I told him everything and before I could finish I could feel the anger coming from him I know that it took everything in him not to beat me up.

"What? ?, You want to slap her out of anger, that means that she made the right decision because she can't be with a mate that doesn't love her reject her let her go doesn't want her to choose another mate and still yet he wants to make someone else his Luna"he said in anger.

"You better make a choice Kelvin either her or Patricia you can't have the both of them and if you don't make the decision so, I will make it for you, you can't keep hurting her like this "he said about to leave.

"how will you make the decision for me? "I asked. He laughed and said.

"It's either you set her free by rejecting her or I'll make her to reject you instead "he said as he walked away looking like a cold-hearted Alpha.

I know that it won't be hard for Dave to convince my mates to reject me because she probably hate me now. I don't know what to do I can't control myself anymore. Even my wife abandoned me for raising my hand to his mate.

I left the garden and went back to the pack house with Dave, frustrated and confused.
