ANGEL

Tonight was perfect for taking a midnight stroll through the woods with the starry sky above me. A full moon provided enough light for me to see where I was going.

A warm breeze caressed me, welcoming me into this picture-perfect moment.

I was trying to remember where I was because I had not come across a single person since I started walking. It seemed that there was something blocking my memory. It was maddening.

There was a light up ahead. Did I follow it and see what it was, or did I just keep walking aimlessly? Screw it. Angel Vester was no coward. The light was from a cabin.

One would think that I had seen enough horror films that I would turn around and run away as quickly as I could. Well, they would be wrong because I was already walking onto the porch. There was something pulling me here, but I had no idea why.

The door swung open, and I saw my biological mother.

She looked just like she had when I saw the vision of her singing to me. Well, without the pregnancy
