Again and again, those words reechoed in his head as he darted into the forest, Stefan, and Riyan behind him, heading in the same direction. They found him and now, Jett was struck between a rock and a hard place.

Abruptly, they came to a stop in an open field, the sight before making them gasp loudly.

"ACE!!" Stefan shrieked, zipping toward his mate, imprisoned with Xavier's fingers fastened tightly around his neck, the Gamma's feet barely touching the ground while his face slowly lost traces of blood but before he could get near, an invisible force struck him on the chest, making him soar against a tree that fell over.

Xavier...no, that wasn't Xavier, this was the demon that had been trapped inside of him for so many years. Jett peered in horror at the lifeless bodies that surrounded the demon on the forest floor.

"You have to save Ace" Riyan uttered over his shoulder, "There's a hurdle, Stefan can't get through"
