I walked around the room a bit after Lottie left me alone in here. Running my fingers along the books as I admired them. He had quite the collection of classics, as well as some steamy stuff as well.

I had heard the rumors he had a mate, but she had passed away, I wondered if maybe those were her books. I didn't think an Alpha would be interested in reading such things.

I stopped at the door that was supposed to lead to his bedroom. Sliding my hand along the door as it settled on the small doorknob. I felt my heart fluttering in my chest as I became overly nervous.
