[18.1] SYRE

[Khloe’s POV]

"LET ME OUT!” I screeched at the top of my lungs for what felt like the millionth time, banging against the door. I stared at my nails, the pink manicure officially undone. I toppled to the floor, groaning as I cradled my aching belly.

Everything hurt.

This was not how it was supposed to go. I wasn't supposed to end here. He was supposed to end. I frowned remembering the look on my mother's face as she left. A sheet of glassy tears filled my eyes for a second.

So useless, useless to think she cared. She shouldn't have left me behind. She was selfish, I’ve always known that but I thought I was her exception. I was her daughter for Pete's sake. I took a breath out, pushing my tears back.

Bad bitches don’t cry.

I let out another shaky breath, rolling my shoulders. This would not be my end.

Father had absolutely no mercy and I shivered at the thought of what he'd do to me. He hadn't come to see me yet and for that I was thankful. It meant I was still needed unless his
