One Hundred and Nineteen.

“What is he talking about?” I half whisper to Ivy.

Dad was already making his way back to Knox. His footsteps hit the ground with force. Or maybe it was the silence surrounding him that made them sound louder than usual. Ivy shrugs her shoulders at me. Her blue eyes showed that she was just as unknowing as I was.

“What the fuck did you say?!” My father growls and the others take a step back, clearing the space around them.

“You should have tried to save him.” Knox spits. “You have no idea what you have done.”

My fathers fist connects with Knox’s face, sending him sliding across the road as more teeth fly out of his mouth.

“Tell me, what exactly have I done?”

“You should have let him die at my hand.”

“Should we do something?” Ivy’s soft voice flutters through my mind and I slowly shake my head.

“It’s too late for him.” I mutter back, knowing the things that my father is capable of

“No, I mean, should we help your father?”

Her comment makes me smile. “He doesn’t need help.”
