She paces back and forth. Chewing on a nail.

“Lilah, he doesn’t know anything.”

“He was questioning me. He wanted to know who I was.”

“That’s pretty standard. An Alpha should know who is staying on his land. I’m surprised that it’s taken him so long. He should have done that the moment he knew you were here.”

“Are you even listening to me? He knows who I am, Alpha Colt. He knows.”

“Lilah, you need to chill. He knows nothing.”

“You said it yourself. You said they would kill me if they found out.”

“There is one way of stopping that from happening.” I muse. It was going to happen anyway. She might as well just let me mark her.

“No fucking way.”

“Fine, but you can’t expect me to help and then not let me help. That’s not how this works.” She comes to a halt. Her eyes narrow at me, but at least she stops chewing on her fingers.

“I will figure it out on my own.” She groans.

“How do you expect to do that?” I was curious. Her only form of true protection was my mark.

I'm glad he marked her. she has been a total Bish even after finding out the truth. Hopefully her attitude changes because if she's like this much longer I don't know if I can handle reading anymore even though the plot and writing is good she is just way too annoying

I get why he marked her, not sure I’m a fan of her not get a choice in the matter. I’m sure she would eventually come around.
