Jade's POV

"Why are your pillows scattered",

"I, uh..I was cultivating my.......prowess". "Yeah, prowess, I repeated. Come down to eat, okay dad. I said and watched him leave the room. Prowess, I muttered, I wondered why prowess of all things was what came to my mind.

Did dad see through my lie or he just wanted to give me privacy? Never mind. I looked at the human girl on the bed, I walked towards her and removed the pillows, I was about to remove the duvet when she held it tightly. "What...." I stopped speaking when I recalled she was nude.

I walked to my wardrobe and gave her one of my shirts.

"Someone would will bring you food", she nodded and I left. Going soft on your mate, huh.

"Dream on", I told Ace and walked towards the dining area.

"I care about wolves in my pack".

But she's not a wolf, I could feel Ace' grinning expression. I ignored him and pulled out a chair for myself.

We ate silently as it was a rule in the royal family when we sat at the dining table. No phones, no electric or manual gadgets, nothing. I caught my dad's stares several times and I simply ignored it. Suddenly, he broke the silence. He went against his own rules? humph

"That intruder, is she a male or a female?".

Dad you've asked the same question before.

"Oh, I wanted to be sure, I'd like to meet her".

"She won't be available", I interrupted sharply earning hard glares at me from three pairs of eyes.

"I, I mean, she's been taken to the forest and would be fed to the Gamma warriors".

"I thought we never broke the rule at the table, but the rule was broken because of a girl, hehe, my 25 year old brother is hiding a girl", Brianna said amidst giggles.

"Shut it,girl, You shouldn't speak when you weren't asked to", I sent her a glare and smiled satisfactorily as she swallowed hard and resumed eating.

"Alright now, the food is getting cold", mom said and I digged into the flesh on my plate. I smiled imagining the human girl's flesh on my plate. Brianna coughed and I found her smiling at me mischievously. I ignored her and resumed eating.

Alice POV

I put on my damp clothes and suddenly heard something ring. I turned it on, it was my phone, oh thank GOD, I muttered, I remembered that it was in the forest the last time. Werewolves, I typed in my browser.

I pretty knew much about werewolves, the Alpha was the leader of the pack, the most strongest and attractive followed by the Beta and the Deltas, Zetas or Gammas. The Gammas were warriors, the rogues were mostly wolves that was thrown out of the pack or wolves who lost their mates. The omegas were the lowest in the pack and usually served the pack. Some packs treated them as non existent Then I suspected that the maiden wolves were omegas.

There were the theta wolves and they were primordial wolves, they are very strong and was believed to be half humans. They are second to the alphas in strength and power and if possible they were stronger than the Alphas.

There was a myth I had also heard from our department's history teacher before I changed my course from Animal studies to Designing.

He said that there was a war that occured between the Alpha of a particular pack and a theta that were cousins. It was said that the war arose because of envy and jealousy.The theta defeated the Alpha breaking history records and killing the Alpha brutally.

Because of that, the Alphas of the 120 packs around the continent gathered and held a meeting. They concluded that they would kill the thetas if it meant killing themselves too because they would become a threat to the Alpha of different wolf kingdoms.

So, they armed themselves with spears coated with silver maple and swords with wolfsbane. There was a great war resulting in mass genocide. That was how the thetas became primordial.............

But no one can deny the fact, for the Alphas to come up with such a plan, they were indeed the strongest. In the midst of all those thoughts, I heard a knock....

Don't worry about opening the door, ma'am I was ordered not to go in, the food is at the door, I heard a calm voice say.

I sat up placing my hands on my waist as I limped to the door, I was really hungry, I picked up the food that was placed on a red velvety pillow, the pillow was really beautiful but that wasn't what really mattered. I uncovered the food, WOW. I was expecting wolf flesh.

I had expected wolf flesh but it was seared pork and apple sauce, Pork was my best meat no matter how it was prepared, What surprised me was that I never got fat because of pork. I munched the huge meat eventually licking the sauce on my plate as I limped to the bed. Before I sat on the bed, I had finished the whole food.

I took my phone on the bed, I wanted to know who that wolf was, the wolf from that night, Was he an Alpha, or a Beta or if possible an Omega. I thought about it's features, I typed it in the word box. There was a loading signal on the screen. Then I heard the door open, I looked up, It was him, he looked so angry.

Did I do something wrong?, Why was he glaring at me that way, His icy demeanor sent me chills down my spine. I tried looking away but his burning gaze made me feel uncomfortable.

My cheeks were damn hot, I wanted to ask him why he was glaring at me but when I saw his dark ink jade pupils dash to my phone, I unconsciously hid my phone behind my back.
